Melania Trump modeled in U.S. prior to getting work visa

I don't agree with this. I see your point, certainly. It can make you out to be a hypocrite if people want to spin it that way. And they will.

But your girlfriend having a DUI shouldn't be damning on you personally. So what? You love the girl and you forgave her for trying to get home after staying out too late at Buffalo Wild Wings one night. And that's not even a malicious act. It's not like she thought, "Oh, man... I can't wait to plow into a family of five tonight!" She just wanted to get home from the bar. And same with Melanoma working while on a visitor visa. I'm certain she wasn't thinking "**** the US! I'm gonna break their laws!" She just had hopes and dreams of being successful.

I don't disagree with any of this. My comment was sarcasm, which can be difficult to convey in writing. I know the Don is no stranger to hypocrisy but this just isn't an example of one of those times.

You don't see the delicious irony?

Of course they don't. They also don't see the raging hypocrisy.

The family values conservatives: the most F.O.S. lot in the United States.

Okay...did Donald Trump hire Melania? Was he dating her? Did he even know her at the time?

What exactly are you trying to show here?

You strike me as rather intelligent. Surely you really the irony here?

No, I see it as just throwing excrement up against the wall to see if it's stick.

I wasn't asking you. We already know you are secretly in love with Donald.

My apologies, I mistook you for a trump supporter. Are you one?
Nope i dont support or hate either candidate. They both have their flaws. I think both sides critics over exagerate those flaws. I think the article in the op is one such example of this.

I was not wholly decided which way i was going to vote but after this pastbweek unless something new turns up im leaning toward trump. Not sure if that means im a trump supporter. I just see him as the best of two bad options.

Okay, so maybe they're cool with immigrants entering illegally. Makes you wonder what makes them so worked up over a big wall.
FWIW This is my observation about the wall. I agree with doing our best to control border security but a wall is a stupid idea. Its kind of like all these useless gun control laws. They feel good in the moment but theybare not effective meadures to solving the problem. People get baited into this stuff everytime an illegal commits a crime or there is a mass shooting. I mock everyone about this stuff cause i think oys all silly and dont take any of it seriously.

A whole 7 weeks!?

The hell you say.

In other news, HRC IS A GOD DAMN CROOK!

Did she enter illegally? Did she sneak in?

Did she enter illegally? Did she sneak in?

What does the entry method matter? Whether they walked over or came on a plane, technically neither should be working.

Or do you think all people who entered on visitor visas or their visa expired, should be able to work illegaly?

I really have no issue with it, immigrants illegaly working. Sounds like a lot of people are with me on this for once.

No. I'd vote for almost anyone to keep Hillary out of office. I see her has the epitome of corrupt privileged political elite. A criminal who should have been charged back in July already.

Trump and his supporters have never had any problem with white immigration, legal or otherwise, so I don't see any hypocrisy in this. ;)

Did she enter illegally? Did she sneak in?

No, she was paid before she was legally allowed to work, which violated the terms of her immigration status. I personally couldn't give two ****s, but as even this runs counter to Trump supporters' sentiments on topics related to illegal immigration, I expect them to care about this as much as they cared about Trump opting to employ workers in third world countries even as he complained about businesses sending manufacturing jobs overseas. And the reason they don't care about behavior that is completely contrary to their supposed beliefs is because their desire to aim Trump at Washington like a missile in order to destroy (their words, not mine) preempts everything else.

That said, there are Trump supporters whose sole concern is a big, stupid wall. I wonder how they're going to spin it when that doesn't get built.

He was a liberal back when all this happened. So it was ok

Can you think of a couple alternate possible explanations for why I might not have cared?

No. Nothing comes to mind

Really? Nothing at all?

First, as the post you responded to specifically said, "I couldn't give two ****s." I have more important things to worry about in life than people who overstay their visas, pick oranges without legal immigration status or waiters who collect tips and don't pay taxes on them. I don't care.

Secondly, if I didn't care about what Trump said or did (or as in this case, what his wife said or did) before the election it's because he wasn't running to be my President. He was just some loudmouthed obscene jerkoff, like at least 30% of the rest of America I don't give a crap about because they're not trying to be my President either.

Thirdly, and because you bring it up, isn't it amazing that one of the most frequent criticisms you hear about Clinton is that she changed her stance on gay marriage when the national winds changed direction, while a complete pass is given to Trump for holding liberal views until he decided to run as a Republican?

But as I said, they don't care about behavior that is completely contrary to their supposed beliefs is because their desire has always been to aim Trump at Washington like a missile in order to destroy it preempts all else, even their own supposedly held principles.

Would you mind changing your forum name? Every time I see your name, I think, "I don't remember posting this!?"

YOU! YOU are the one who has been getting me into all this trouble!

Nice avatar, though. :)

The point is, Hillary is toast if this is the best they can do.

There is that.

It seems that the haystack Hillary supporters have been grasping at for the past year is now reduced to a few half straws. But, if you're hungry and half straws is all you got? Go for it.

This tidbit is:

Whether she worked when illegal for her to do so, I don't know, but to say she entered the country illegally is false and dishonest. She did not. Shouldn't actual facts matter?

Actually, there's already a large and rather rusty fence where I live right along the border. It's a little bit of a bummer since it obscures the view into Mexico which I've always thought fascinating, but it has had a genuine impact on lowering crime rates and assaults on our Border Patrol. I know that's an inconvenient truth to your partisan narrative, but it is what it is.

You have an unhealthy obsession with me.

Only when I make the mistake of actually paying attention to what you post and mostly I try not to. For some reason, I keep excepting something more than the partisan crap and bashing you engage in without exception. You're right though, that's totally my mistake. You remain consistent.
