THE CENTER FOR American Progress hosted a sort of preview of Hillary Clinton’s Middle East policy on Tuesday, with a Clinton adviser and a Gulf state diplomat agreeing that the next president should double down on support for the Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, while ramping up action against Iran.

It is a signal that a future Clinton administration would overwhelmingly favor the Gulf states in their ongoing, Middle East-wide power struggle with Iran, implicitly rebuking President Obama, who has come under fire from Gulf states for mild criticism of their foreign policy and his nuclear deal with Iran.

We've allied ourselves with the dangerous, intolerant, and violent.

This has been our foreign policy for decades, where have you been? All Obama really did was make matters worse picking new idiots to get us in bed with.

We have had a hypocritical and confusing Middle East presence going back to the end of WWII. This includes arming those who became Al Qaeda when they called themselves The Mujahideen fighting Russia, helping Saddam so long as he aimed weapons at Iran, in bed with various dictators and shady characters from Egypt to Pakistan, and helping Saudi Arabia throughout.

Yesterday's good guy is today's bad guy, the only difference here is Saudi Arabia is unlikely to ever really be called a bad guy. All this proves is Hillary is willing to play the same game.

I agree this is nothing new; just reemphasizing Hillary's status quo position.

How is she Anti-Iran if she was a key player in the JCPOA?

"dangerous, intolerant, and violent.", that describes a lot of liberal voters in America. If that is who is willing to put her into office, why shouldn't that be reflected in her policies?
