It was coming. Donald Trump and Mike Pence promised America they had proof Jessica Leeds lied about being groped 30 years ago. If you are saying Pence has other evidence to bring forward, well I haven't seen it yet. He did say, "Frankly, I think before the day is out the allegations will be questioned." That was yesterday. This is all they have released so far.

I thought proof was required of the accuser?
I guess it is, unless we really, really dislike the person who's the target of the accusations.

Problematic as the accusations are, one must find it fascinating that the counter to the accusation comes not only from a morally-compromised witness, but one that wouldn't ordinarily be expected to have the memory of the incident in question. It didn't seem to me that Giberthrope was all that attached to either Trump or Leeds. One wonders what would cause a non-incident between complete strangers from over 30 years ago to be so vividly remembered. One could at least understand the accuser (Leeds) and the accused (Trump) of having different recollections of the event in question.

Proof is required in the court of law. Whether one believes her or not is up to the individual. Trump is not helping his case by touting this nutjob.

I think it was stupid for him to use a witness.
He should try to move on or stick with someone or something that is more credible.

These incidents are mostly inherently going to be he said, she said. I've been inappropriately grabbed by a co-worker. There would be no way anyone else would know it had happened other than the person committing the act and the one receiving it. Just because no one else saw it or I did not report it to someone and/or had it documented in a typed incident report, doesn't mean that I was not grabbed.

Yup. Multiple corroborating witnesses, for example, confirm that he would try to walk in on underage teenagers in the Miss Teen USA pageant, hoping to see them in the nude.

As he himself stated on tape.

Per your links he has said that the campaign would provide evidence (likely they told him they would), but not actually done what you accused in the OP.

When Trump is bad enough, why lie about Pence?
