Honestly the whole thing really makes Republicans look like ****. Trump started his campaign by making a very bigoted statement about Mexicans. Since then he has retweeted white supremacist propaganda, called for a ban on all Muslims entering the country, said that a judge could not be fair because he was of Mexican descent, told all white crowds that Blacks and Latinos were living in hell, attacked Muslim Gold Star Parents, refused to condemn white supremacists campaigning for him, was the leading proponent of birtherism which is nothing but pure racism, condoned the beating a black lives matter activist, and called his supporters that beat up a homeless Latino man "passionate". This is all since the guy announced his candidacy and its just a sampling of Trump's racism and bigotry. Through all of this only a handful of Republicans refused to endorse him or withdrew their endorsements.
So what did it take for Republicans to finally start turning their back on him? The video last Friday. To quote Simone Sanders: "You apparently can say whatever you want about Mexicans, Hispanics, and Black people, but the Republican Party draws the line on white women."
There is a cancer in the Republican Party. Trump isn't that cancer, he is merely the most obvious tumorous growth.
