Here's the actual video where he says that. It should be noted that just before he said that he also said that the election is in just 28 days. Which means that it was just a mistake. One that people in this thread and the people in the links provided in the OP are obviously more than willing to spin to make Trump seem stupider than he already does on his own. This just proves that MUCH of what is said in this election is just partisan BS. (and yes, I can apply that to BOTH sides equally in this stupid election season so you might as well skip the spin of excuses that will be shot off in response to this post)

Go ahead and watch the video. Everything regarding what this thread is about is said with in the first 2 minutes. So don't need to watch the whole thing.

Don't remember the corpsman bit. The state thing I vaguely remember. And yes, people were stupid back then also. This election is far worse imo though with the stupidity.

And anyone can make such mistakes on an election trail. Hell, they make such mistakes when sitting at home. God knows how many times a day I go to holler for one kid but end up saying the other kids name. Surprised my kids don't write their siblings name on their school papers at times.
