Leaked Emails Show That Trump Was A Tool Used By The Hillary Campaign From Day One

The "vote for me because I have a vagina" candidate got there from hard work!

Waving off a decades-long successful career just because she's a woman. Gee, I wonder why your guys just can't keep the female demographic!

A woman who road her husband's coat tails for 20 years until she could milk his fame for long enough to get elected to the Senate.

She's the exact stereotype that feminists wanted to eliminate, that of a woman who needs a man in order to get anywhere in life.

Re: Leaked Emails Show That Trump Was A Tool Used By The Hillary Campaign From Day On

That's the part that has me uncertain. I don't mean this as an insult to you, but it's sort of like saying in my view, "If we had a different GOP than we do that wasn't all kinds of batcrap crazy, I'd vote for their nominee."

But I agree with the concept. We have a GOP governor (Haslam) and he's done a very good job, I happily voted FOR him both times, and when the party gets to a point where he's an acceptable face I'd consider them again, but not holding my breath. His biggest job is holding off the crazies that are taking over the legislature.

I live in the Kansas City area, just outside of Kansas City, Missouri on the Kansas side. Kansas, as I am sure you know, is a solidly red state. I typically register as a Republican so that I can vote for moderate Republicans in the primaries. In state and local races, I vote Republican more than I do Democrat, but always for Moderates. At the state and local level there has always been a lot of moderate Republicans. Unfortunately there seems to be a glass ceiling for them these days. No matter how well they do in state and local government, its hopeless for a moderate Republican to try and seek national office because they can't get through the primaries.

Yes, like I said. handwaving an entire career because she's a woman.

I've always maintained that the only way Hillary could win is if she were up against a candidate like Trump. Though I'm not sure I buy into the conspiracy theories that Clinton and the DNC manipulated the GOP into putting Trump up. Gonna need to see some better data on that one.

had to be Trump or Cruz, or she wouldn't have had a chance, especially with half of her base pissed off about Sanders not winning the nomination. assuming that she doesn't lose this time around, she's going to have a tough 2020 race against Ryan. i don't see how she wins that one. Democratic fatigue will be at code red by then.

The GOP screwed up big time in 2012 when they winked, and shrugged their shoulders when Trump was running around the country telling everyone he had 'proof' Obama was a Kenyan Muslim. He was ridiculing the office of president. The GOP should have told him right then to STFU, but they didn't. They saw him, and the 40% of the GOP who believed him as allies.

That's come to bite the GOP squarely in the ass.

Anyone with a brain could see then the GOP should have told the Trump's and far right of their party to get lost. But the GOP didn't, the only ones with brains enough to see what was going on was the Democrats.

Pretty F'ing funny when you think about it.

Well, she had the opportunity and she took it. How many women in history can you say did as much? You can give her credit for working hard and still despise her.

And heck, she's easily as or more accomplished as Trump is. Makes it a lot easier to make it when you're born on third to a wealthy developer who bails you out several times in the early years. The early loans made his early projects possible, and anyone without that HUGE and comfy safety net is bankrupted and wiped out, several times.

That's a problem, though. If Hillary wins and the democrats take the Senate, he'll have to pull a lot of Boehners and compromise with the democrats in the Senate over and over to keep the lights on, and unless the GOP changes character, relying on democrats to get stuff through the House. It seems like an awkward place from which to run for potus, which is why so many thought he was nuts to take the job if he wanted to be POTUS. We'll see I guess.

There's no doubt that Trump benefitted from who his father was. But I'm not delusional enough to think that Hillary would be a presidential candidate without having been Bill Clinton's wife.

I didn't say that, just that it's a genuine accomplishment and wasn't in any way handed to her. She had an opportunity, worked very hard for it, and might be the country's first woman POTUS. Many women had a head start through their husbands and none have made it this far.

Heck, same is true for H.W. and especially W. Bush - they had a famous and rich daddy who paved their way. Doesn't mean both men didn't accomplish a helluva lot even with those head starts relative to 99.999% of the country. Romney too - son of a powerful and very wealthy governor. He started on third too. Gore - famous daddy, McCain and Kerry - married into incredible wealth.

It's funny no one whines that these white men couldn't have made it without _________. Seems that's only an excuse for black men and white women. I guess we expect white men to have their path laid out for them and believe that's the way the world should work.

That quote was taken way out of context, and if Trump had said it he'd have embraced the quote and said of course, that's how all deals get done and him having a public and private agenda is part of his brilliant strategery. Besides, they all hide their back room deals - just how it's always been done.

Taken out of context?

:lamo

BS.

Besides, pretending it was, Clinton screwed herself, because it has been her mission and that of her MSM partners to eliminate context is almost every attack they have launched.

Lie after lie after lie about what was actually said. I've demonstrated that fact dozens of times here on DP with actual transcripts.

No, Clinton is a serial liar, who says one thing in public, while doing something completely different in private. Remember, she said the little people would get "nervous" if they knew about all the back room deals.

That's just about a quote, so spare me the laughable "out of context" complaint.

Taken out of context?

Have you read the quote in context? Can you link it?

Yes to both questions. Have you?

Why are you arguing context though? Hillary, her MSM partners, and the noise machine paid to carry her water eliminated context this election season. It's apparently been outlawed.

So when Hillary admitted she hides back room deals from the public...: “But If Everybody's Watching, You Know, All Of The Back Room Discussions And The Deals, You Know, Then People Get A Little Nervous, To Say The Least. So, You Need Both A Public And A Private Position.”*

...I'm really confused by this "out of context" complaint. That card has been played, despite the fact it doesn't even apply here.

Hilarious! Even Trump is Hillary's fault.

Remember when conservatives believed in personal responsibility?
