Rut Roh!!! Anthony Wiener looking at jail time

His prison name will be T Bitch.

I know, right?

I was reading the screenshots earlier today.

Shaking my head the whole time.

He sends her an obvious head shot, and then joked about it being dangerous.

His screen name was T Dog, IIRC.

This will chase Huma straight into Hillary's bed.

Interesting that Fox emphasized the apology over this.

Doesnt sound like he has actually confessed.

I doubt you'd even believe a confession. You just like the continuous asking for proof, and then finding fault with whatever is shown you.

On the contrary. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if this turned out to be true, given the man's history. But unlike you, I am skeptical of questionable source.

Fox News included this line, it must mean something. But you just want to ignore it, for some reason.

Sorry, I guess MSNBC hasn't gotten around to it yet.

Anthony Weiner carried on a months-long online sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl during which she claims he asked her to dress up in 'school-girl' outfits for him on a video messaging application and pressed her to engage in 'rape fantasies', DailyMail.com can exclusively report.

The girl, whose name is being withheld by DailyMail.com because she is a minor, said the online relationship began last January while she was a high school sophomore and before Weiner's wife, Hillary Clinton's aide Huma Abedin, announced she was ending their marriage.

Weiner was aware that the girl was underage, according to DailyMail.com interviews with the girl and her father, as well as a cache of online messages.

Soooo... he thinks it was more of a "To Catch a Predator" level sexting than an actual 15 year old? Amazing that you and he thinks that even matters.

Essentially: "I'm sorry for sexting a 15 year old girl... but in my defense it might turn out that she wasn't an actual the 15 year old girl I thought she was at the time."

Yeah, they would have bothered to explain what the "hoax" line was referring to. You don't care, I take it

That is certainly one possible interpretation, but we aren't given context.

Or it could be "these are faked screenshots" which seems more likely to me. That would be standard denial.

If he thinks they are faked screen shots then why did he apologize?

Well, that's fox news, which is not known for truth. However, there are more mainstream news reports about the FBI investigating the situation. I suspect he is gonna be found to be worthy of charges against him... but we can not know 100% until said charges are brought.

Tell me, who's known for truth in your world?

PBS is best media.... the so called 'main stream' media is getting to be more and more opinion instead of news with too much political motivation. They also do not do their fact checking as well... they got rid of the folks that did that to save money. However Fox news is particularly bad at being biased. Of american media, some of the worse ones are Fox 'News', the Washington times,

I think the ones I would trust the most are BBC, NPR, and PBS. . The Wall Street Journal was good, if confirmed by other sources, and the major network ones , if confirmed by other sources. The Wall Street Journal used to be much better, but has deteriorated the last decade or so, and has become increasingly politically motivated.

As does anything Rupert Murdoch touches!

Yes, the Journal was a really excellent paper! Between it and the (NY) Times, I pretty much had my print national news fix - back in the day.

Jail for sexting a 15 Year old?

A text message is not sex.

I recently tried to get back into my Sunday NY TImes habit now that I am retired, dropped it in something like 1997 when they shrunk the paper, though it had been getting worse for awhile even by then.

Lasted a few weeks, I am shocked at how bad this paper has gotten.
