President Barack Obama is quite correct. No, Jihadis do not pull their inspiration from the orthodox texts. Indeed quite a few have probably never read the Qur'an or Hadiths for themselves. Their beliefs and actions are indeed aberrations. As for the Rev. Wright perhaps you have not read that "As you sow, so will you reap." America has quite a reputation for sticking it's nose into the governance of other countries and overthrowing / removing those that it does not like.

Obama has misrepresented quotes from the Koran with the same excuses as apologists. Indeed, many have read the Koran and the hadiths, especially the terorists.

One example is the "to kill one man is to kill all of mankind". He neglects to tell people that is what the Jews said, not Mohammad.

Do you know how many times I have heard that? My opinion is formed by facts. Your opinion is formed by rhetoric from progressives and apologists that dismiss the problem and create a reason for others to dismiss it also.

Which ends up with me and my feeling as the subject. Doesn't work that way. What you see(were told to see) as fear is awareness, and what you bring is denial.

My opinion is formed by my experience. I've known several families of Muslims as friends, coached Muslim kids in Little League and dealt business with others. I've always found them to be genial, moral people. Most that I've known were Muslim like I'm Catholic, only on holy days, though I can't say I've ever had a drink with one.
Point is, my experience tells me that anti-Muslim fear mongerers are full of crap. My experience tells me that fear of an entire ethnic, religious, or racial group is irrational and, if it becomes general, a genuine risk to society.

Did you know that my country has accepted tens of thousands of Syrian refugees in the past 8 months or so? Have you heard of any problems?
