You can support the Republican Congress's attempt to wrest control of foreign policy/intelligence gathering from the Obama Administration all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that it violates the Constitution's separation of powers. It's political theater, not a serious proposal.

yet because he sent 1 email that contain classified data over a private unsecure email account he was relieved of duty.

she knowingly sent thousands of emails and deleted thousand of other emails knowingly and gets away with it

never said that. Trump is a danger to the people of America and Sanders recognizes that. I am no fan of Clinton - but she is clearly NOT the dangerous threat to our stability as a nation that Trump represents.

That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. First of all, he's been compromising himself in the same way for decades I guess by choosing to caucus with the Democrats, even given his major disagreements with the party line on several important issues. He simply needed to ask - which party gave him the best chance to advance his priorities and it was the Democrats.

Similarly, if Sanders wants ANY of his priorities to see the light of day, there has to be a Democratic POTUS and Congress, and a Trump POTUS with a GOP House and Senate would torpedo ALL his priorities, reverse many gains, etc. And if anyone would draw a list of Sanders positions, there is no doubt that Hillary would agree with him on far more than Trump. I saw Jill Stein's self rated position sheet like many of us have done here and it was something like 97% with Bernie, 90% Hillary, 60% Trump. So as a practical matter, who should he support? And what practical good does he accomplish by not endorsing Clinton, and working on her election, which if it happens in big enough numbers will also likely pull many democrats into Congress, hopefully at least flipping the Senate. If he sits on the sidelines and throws rocks at Hillary for the election, it hurts those efforts.

Anyway, I see it as an ordinary kind of political compromise that's not fun or pretty but which is necessary for anyone who is more interested in practical results than maintaining their ideological purity.
