Gay Activist Milo Yiannopoulos Speaks at Orlando

I love the Drunken Peasants. It's my favorite podcast.

But anyways, that **** Milo said was extremely stupid.

1:38:33 "And Europe is really the only powerful country in the world..."

Total asshole --- but he's right a lot of the time too.

You have to remember, having the "truth" or being "right" is all subjective when it comes to politics.
You think that you being "right" is only an opinion.
***not directed at you, Josie****

He criticizes muslims, I didn't watch the rest

'this is not radical islam ,this is islam.'

I didn't watch the video, but that is correct. Peaceful Muslims are the radicals.

I'm happy to debate with peaceful radicals of all hues; I do so here all the time. Holding radical ideas isn't a problem per se. It becomes a problem when peace goes out of the window, when people decide to impose radical solutions (radical left, radical right, radical Christian, radical Islamic) by non-peaceful i.e. non-democratic methods.

ignorant christians are bigots

Wait, being ignorant automatically makes you a bigot?

Oh that's right, I forgot, all of the violent, mysogonistic verses in the Koran are fakes. Lol. Where can I get a copy of the Koran with all of these fake verses removed?

That's funny, I always thought the Hadith were misogynistic, not the Koran.

The solution to this easy....before you're allowed to buy a gun, you have to eat a pound of bacon.

Lol, one of the arguments is whether the punishment for adultery is, being scourged 100 times, or stoned. Yeah, I can see the controversy.

Good try, actually it's between lashed 100 times and then stoned to death or "exemplary punishment from God." We are comparing the Hadith and the Koran. We are not comparing married and unmarried women.

The Koranic verse, from the artcle quoted, read "scourge". So, nice try.

We're not discussing misogyny at this point, but the veracity of hadiths. Nice try.

I am discussing misogyny and how it exists in the Hadith and not the Koran, which is what your false statement was about.

Hence, I have discredited your statement that the verses of the Koran are either fake or misogynistic. Feel free to provide examples to back up your claim, otherwise I'll just conclude that you don't know what you're talking about.

The post you responded to which started this exchange cited misogyny and violence in the Koran. If you truly believe the Koran is not biased towards women, then your idea of misogyny is utterly idiotic. If you really want to go down this road, we can. But it will have to wait until I get home later.

Because I'm having trouble with my browsers playing YouTube videos. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've updated everything. Restarted my computer and on and on. It's still not working.

Could you please tell me what he says that you like?
He correctly points out that 100% of Muslims (not fundamentalists...just your average everyday moderate Muslims) believe it should be illegal for homosexuals to exist. He points out that in England the majority of Muslims want to see Sharia law imposed and that 41% believe women should ALWAYS be subservient to their husbands. He points out that in the majority of Muslims states homosexuals arent just criminals but are subject to death sentences. Lots more...you would get more if you just found a way to listen to him yourself. its carried on numerous news sites.

He's not a 'gay activist' he's a far-right activist who happens to be gay. He hates gays and clearly hates himself quite a bit. This is the man who states:

"But the thought that I might influence my child towards a lifestyle choice guaranteed to bring them pain and unhappiness–however remote that chance may be–is horrifying to me. That’s why, quite simply, I wouldn’t bring a child up in a gay household."

...and...

"I would love to be cured. Who wouldn't want to be cured? Of course I want to be cured. I've tried to pray the gay away... I think for a variety of reasons, most gay people, if they were honest, would not choose to have been born homosexual. I'd love to experiment with some of these therapies, not because I think they'll work."

He's no friend to out and defiant and proud LGBT people. He's no friend to the victims of Pulse, whose deaths he used as a platform to push his Islamophobic rhetoric, not to address inherent homophobia. He peddles countless straw man ideas about what 'the left' believes about homosexuality and is a poster boy for the defence of abusive catholic priests because he claims he was abused as a teenager and was 'enthusiastic' about it.

He's an editor for Breitbart, so that tells you a lot about his journalistic and personal ethics. The guy is a piece of s***, and that speech was pure pandering to bigots and demagogues.
Awwww...he doesnt fit your little box of what a 'real' gay man should act like. Shocking.
