I didn't see Eric Clapton in that jam. maybe he was off camera

No, I don't think he was there. Not sure who the other guitar player was but I've seen him a bunch of times before. I think he might have been at the concert for George after Harrison died.

I thought it was the RRHOF induction for Harrison who had died three years earlier (01)

Yeah, it was. But I think the guitarist who played prior to Prince's breath-taking solo also played at the memorial Concert for George in 2002. Wish I could remember his name. Clapton was at that 2002 concert but I don't believe he was at the RRHOF one. At least I didn't see him.

well there is Jeff Lynne of ELO who later worked with GH in the Traveling Wilbury's. Also Tom Petty and Dhani (George's son) Harrison. Lynne and Petty were the lead singers in the Harrison tribute song

Yeah, and they do a terrific job of it. But if you watch the video again, there's a guy playing lead guitar prior to the Prince part. I wish I knew who he was.

the guy in the black driving cap? Don't know him-the ones I recognize are Petty, Lynne, Dhani, Prince and Steve winwood (Keyboard)
