Donald Trump Thinks North Carolina Got It Wrong On Anti-LGBT Bathroom Bill

The way Cruz keeps talking about little girls and men in bathrooms gives new perspective to the way his own daughter pushes him away when he tries to provide a photo opportunity with affection.

I am NOT accusing him of anything - but it does make one raise an eyebrow.
Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one who noticed. Even his daughter knows he's a creep.

Of course he does. Because he's a liberal.

Sounds like right wing political correctness to me. Fall in line so you don't offend the base or you are not one of us.

:lamo Trump goes PC. His fans claim it's him refusing to moderate his views. :D Truly you can' tmake this stuff up.

So, anyone who agrees with Trump is only doing it because it's "PC" and not the obviously sane position? :doh

And what you truly can't make up is someone whining about "PC" then applying a "right wing PC" standard to Trump and attributing bad motives to the guy if he steps out of line with the accepted right wing position. You're being as intolerant of a different opinion as those you'd point to on the left.

LOL, that's exactly right. Should have read to the end of the thread and saved myself a post.

No, the obviously sane position is the one that this guy shouldn't be encouraged or enabled to traipse into public female restrooms or showers.

The PC position is the one that Trump is taking. Because that's what he reverts to, when he's done projecting a fake persona to stir up what he sees as the right wing crazies.

Though I have to admit, watching the Trumpkins switch from "Trump is gonna end gay marriage!" into Transgender SJW's over the past 24 hours has been hilarious :D

....no. I'm pointing out that Trump takes liberal, PC positions because he is a liberal.

He's a criminal and was appropriately charged, and the crime happened when there was no right for transgender individuals to use their bathroom appropriate to their assumed gender, and the new law in Washington doesn't protect anyone's right to video others in the bathroom - it's still a crime.

And I was being sarcastic, but the point is there are good reasons to allow transgender individuals to use the bathroom they choose and not the one on their BC, so disagreement with your position can be legitimate and not having anything to do with "PC." Now you'll have people who 'young girls' perceive as clearly a man following them into the women's room. I bet that's more disconcerting to them than someone who looks like a woman doing so.

What makes it "PC" except that it's a different position than right wing nutjobs on the subject? IMO, it's the clearly sane position. You disagree - why is your position not "PC"?

I haven't noticed.

Sometimes he (and others, like me) might just disagree with the right wing "PC" position that you take because you're a right winger...

Because it's not the position that "there are good reasons to allow transgender individuals to use the bathroom they choose", but rather the position that "those who disagree with or have good reasons for thinking that we shouldn't let anyone enter any bathroom of their choosing are foolish and morally culpable". Trump didn't make a case advocating, he made a case delegitimizing opposition - that's the core of PC culture.

:) You should spend more time on Twitter.

 the conservative position on this issue is anything but PC.

And once again, what you are portraying him as saying is not at all what he actually said. You quoted him in the OP, you should know what he said.

The comment in the OP wasn't delegitimzing opposition - he made a series of accurate observations. There have been very few problems with transgender individuals using their bathroom of choice, and NC is paying a high economic price. When did he label people like you haters or transphobes or something? He has a different opinion, so it's you who's the PC police on this issue. That you can't see it is hilarious.

Right, because your position is correct, and the only reason to disagree is because it's the socially acceptable position not because your position is irrational and fear mongering and creating a problem where none previously existed by inserting the nanny state now tasked with checking birth certificates to determine which bathroom we're allowed to choose.....

Right, because your position is correct

Oh hey look! A Strawman!

 how astonishing.

The funny thing is that Trump, siding with the left on this, and they still hate him. He's the only guy that wants to try and keep union jobs here, and the left hates him. He speaks out in favor of funding Planned Parenthood, and the left hates him.

It's fairly obvious that Trump is to the left of most Republicans on social issues. The problem is that he doesn't have a clue about anything else.

Oh hey look! A Strawman!

You didn't answer the question, but nice attempt to dodge. You cited his comments and said this, quoting YOU: "Trump didn't make a case advocating, he made a case delegitimizing opposition." Please point to where he did that!

And it's hilarious you're accusing me of the strawman. You said presumably me or Trump or the unnamed liberals or someone argues that those who hold your opinion are "...are foolish and morally culpable" and put those words in quotes that as far as I can tell no one actually said, much less Trump. It's the very definition of strawman - condemning Trump (or me...) for words he didn't say and an argument he never made! LOL.....

That's what pissed me off about this.
Not what Trump said ... what Cruz said.
He declared Trump had said something he never said.
Cruz does that a lot and I suspect it's one of the biggest things that make him such an irritant to so many people.

Cruz is a habitual liar. The man constantly makes stuff up and he rarely ever gets called to the mat.

A businessman who from MANHATTAN doesn't have a problem with gays?

Shocking I tell you, just shocking.

Yeah. That's why I'll never vote for Cruz. He's pure utter slime. Trump might mis-speak. Hillary will circumlocute. But Cruz will just flat out lie about other people's positions. He's done it here and he's done it with Trump's Supreme Court nominee choices. And of course he did it to Ben Carson as well.

i can't wait to see some of the more homophobic trumpites try to respond to this

except that he's running for president as a republican so yeah it is rather shocking

then there's the fact he has gone back and forth on gay marriage numerous times during his campaign

Trump is saying what many of us on both the left and right want to hear. He's saying that he'll make America great again. Hillary is promising us four more years of the same old, same old... His message resonates. I disagree with him on many points but I choose him over the others.

Making America Great Again has to be the stupidest, most dishonest campaign slogan ever. What in the hell does that mean? Go back to the days when America, coming off World War II, was the only strong, rich country in the world? When white folks made all of the decisions and minorities - and women - knew their place? Get real.

Not that it will cut through the snark, but it's all about going forward, making something of this nation we can all be proud of again.
