"Maybe our president’s humiliation comes in a manner so devastating it makes one wonder whether the Creator of humankind isn’t reminding this world of the inferiority of foolishness in the face of wisdom."

How in the world did sane people ever vote for this nut job?

Now we know who Trump needs to pick for his VP.

A photo of her and him eating a corndog together would put Trump in the White House.

I think she's angling for Coulter's spotlight

Oh for ****'s sake. I need a cocktail.

I have a problem with the thread title, in that it assumes Michele Bachmann was ever on the rails
to begin with.

You could always join Michelle and her hubby and while you are having a drink, you could help pray someone';s gay away.

There isn't enough alcohol in the world for me to spend time with her. Besides, $50 says she and the Mister don't drink anything kinkier than coffee.

What makes you suppose any sane person ever did vote for her???

I'd drink communal wine, but my heathenish Catholic ways would probably drive another wedge between her and conversation.

At least they voted in greater numbers for Marco Rubio than The Donald, so there's that.

I actually live in the 6th District of Minnesota.

When Bachmann first came on the scene she wasn't so boisterous. She kind of played into that Tea Party angle but didn't delve into the bat**** insane stuff like she does now. I think the combination of being in a very secure district and the Democrats pretty much letting her run unopposed for her first couple of terms emboldened her to the point where she felt comfortable letting out her inner crazy.

It was all catching up to her, though, and she knew it. If she would have tried to hang on any longer she would have gotten voted out.

Yeah she has definitely gotten worse over time. I have friends in St. Cloud who loved her when she first arrived on the scene. Today I wouldn't call it "love", more like oh well, she's ours, let's just embrace her and pray she doesn't speak. Ever.

Let me guess. You voted for Al Franken, didn't ya?

Sure I did!;)

P.S. I live in St. Cloud.

Dead link.

At this point, **** the mixers.

Whiskey neat, please.

We were in Kentucky recently and had a case of really delicious bourbon sent to our house to get us through the hellish election cycle, and make the strange things coming from Michele Bachmann's mouth less likely to give us coronaries.
