Gunman dressed in Muslim robes opens fire in broad daylight in London.

Hm... not enough data to say a whole lot, but there are disturbing implications in what is available....
 
Lets not jump to conclusions....the gunman might've just been "standing his ground" against some hoodlums.

The article said there was evidence the gun shot blanks.

Oh thank goodness. For a minute there I thought this was an attempt to use fear to create a reaction among the populace...

LOL there is no "stand your ground" there.. Guns are pretty much illegal any way you shake it there and I'm pretty sure even if you legally own a gun it's still illegal to shoot an intruder in your own house..
 
I thought the UK had strong gun control. How could this happen?

Ahh! So your gun control works. Now perhaps some improvements to your journalism. This is one of the most misleading articles. Second to last sentence is "evidence of a discharged blank firearm was discovered"

The "shooting" has been referred to Operation Trident, which spearheads the policing of gangs, not terrorism. There was an actual shooting in Edmonton (Alberta) yesterday, where somebody died, if it's the gore that interests you.
 
It looks a lot more like a gang thing in which the guy with the gun (probably blank firing) was being mobed.
 
Man in a muslim dress? I think DC was describing the material not the religion.

He was in a nicely cropped and flowing white muslin dress...he looked divine. Typo.
