When has it ever been a secret?

It isn't illegal because there is nothing tangible being exchanged, and support is expected as a per-requisite for appointment. Should a Republican campaign bundler expect an appointment by the Obama administration? No. Why? Because they didn't support Obama, that's why.

but now that it has been exposed, it's time to investigate the allegation that a public office was offered by trump in return for an endorsement this for that gives the appearance of unethical behavior

Actually I am not voting for her yet. I prefer two others. But if it comes down to Hillary or Trump then she will likely get my vote. Let's talk law breaking. What exactly has Hillary been convicted of doing? I'll wait.

Sure he broke the law but this won't catch fire and surely won't stop him. Maybe if Rubio was still in he'd use it for his con-man attacks. Trump has way too many other problems to be hurt by this silly thing but if this is the type of laughable people he will surround himself with in office who will say things that just make him look like a corrupt doofus. I can't wait for him to go down as the worst president ever!!!!

Ease up, I know about Michelle Malkin and Hot Air. Ever since Salem took them over they have been establishment mouth pieces and little else. Even Allahpundit's pieces are toothless.

But hey this is just the beginning... If the GOP cant find a way to not give Trump at the nomination at the convention they have pretty much all said, "I will stand by the GOP presidential nominee". So a lot more might be coming.

What if Carson said I want to endorse you, and Trump said... and I want you on my cabinet when we win? January isn't far off... let's figure out the best fit.

It's not like he's going to bought off with some ambassadorship. The guy knows the medical system, and we know your fear My Dear Socialists. He knows why ObamaKare should be deposited in the nearest trash can.

Is it illegal to throw support behind a candidate in return for a position in the administration? It's a new one on me. Big donors are often given jobs. Many of the ambassadors in first world countries are from this group.

Normally he could be an ambassador, but man that would be risky, I dont think anyone in their right mind would trust him that much.
