I honestly believe this election is going to go down in history. We could easily have a non-establishment candidate at the top of both parties and establishment candidates from both sides running as independents against the anti-establishment nominees, whose campaigns would have to be financed by the establishment RNC & DNC. It's gonna be a wild ride!

I believe the polar opposite. If elected Trump would work very well with both sides of the aisle. Hell, he contributed to most of their campaigns. The critters are used to negotiation and compromise, Trump's forte.

He'd need to make a decision very soon if he wants to run third party or he runs the risk of not showing up on ballots. He'd need to drop out this week if he is to have any hope of getting on enough state ballots to have a chance of winning.

In reality, the boat has probably already sailed on all but a write-in campaign.

Seriously? The guy's platform is schoolyard bully and then he gets upset when he is boo'd or when a media spokesperson asks him awkward questions.
I would think someone who has been in business as long as he has would have grown a pair by now.


I agree here except for the part about his mouth. It seems the more ignorant his sound bite the higher his approval. That may not hold up right until election day but I'm not sure it won't either...

I would NOT put it past him if he did run as a write-in. Just enough votes to destroy the Republicans.

Bet my next pay check Trump jumps ship and goes it alone. The hissy fits he has thrown in the past seem to indicate that will be the case unless the RNC cave to Trump.

You may be correct, he is currently a Republican as it suits his need, I don't suppose he actually gives a squat for the Republican Party itself, its a vehicle for his ambition. And the RNC know it, and our powerless to do nothing. He will win SC according to the polls, a state which should go to the likes of Cruz and the far rights. Its very telling on what is happening with in the party.

Throughout his life, Trump has been closer to the Democratic side so you may be right. I have wondered whether he's fronting for Hillary, throw the Republicans into disarray.

It is very telling what's happening in the nation. There is a huge backlash to the status quo, people are fed up with the political games and want change. So desperate are they that they will back a loose canon like Trump

Do you understand that there are categories of felon? One is a convicted felon, the other is an UNconvicted felon. IOW, one becomes a felon by committing a felony, whether one is formally convicted or not.

i did the math 23% of all reg voters are republican ,lets say 10% of these reg voters are voting for trump,that leaves 13% of all reg republican voters to vote for the RNC's chosen one ,DONALD trump can win a third party bid,the RNC had better catch their collective heads,i am waiting for them to change rule 40B.
like most TRUMP voters i will not vote for any ticket that does not have TRUMP at the head and it looks like the RNC will disenfranchise million of voters in favor of the RNC rules screw the CONSTITUTION ,we are watching the death of the republican party.

seems like this was the same clutch of screw ups that lost in 08,again in 2012,thanks to mr rove's picks to run and now i am told the RNC is a corp. and does not have to listen to the voters,okand the voters do not have to vote for their chosen one.
