Mitch McConnell fast-tracks authorization to give Obama unlimited war powers

Mitch McConnell is a weasel.

Woah, dude. That's uncalled for.

What the hell did weasels ever do to you?

Animal cruelty is a crime, you know.

Jeb Bush was a Democrat? He's one of the neocon founding members. Don't be shy. Name some of these neocon Democrats.

do you even understand what a neocon is. ITS A NEW CONSERVATIVE. someone who changed from being a liberal. Are you saying JEB BUSH was a prominent liberal at one time?

LOL You have no clue. Neocon does not mean liberals that became conservatives. It is an ideology (one that is new to conservatism) that believes that America must be the supreme leader in the world. It is the ideology that brought us the Iraq war. And YES Jeb was a founding member of "Project for the New American Century" (PNAC) a neocon think tank.

The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) was a neoconservative[1][2][3] think tank based in Washington, D.C. that focused on United States foreign policy. It was established as a non-profit educational organization in 1997, and founded by William Kristol and Robert Kagan.[4][5] The PNAC's stated goal was "to promote American global leadership."[6] The organization stated that "American leadership is good both for America and for the world," and sought to build support for "a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity."[7]
Of the twenty-five people who signed the PNAC's founding statement of principles, ten went on to serve in the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush, including Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz.

No he isn't. The main founder was Irving Kristol. Leo Strauss is another who was on the ground floor and helped mold Neocon ideology. The Bushes were not orginally Neocons. George Bush did not join the Neocons until he became President. He was actually a fairly decent governor of Texas, who managed to work out consensus with the Democrats on many bills. He actually got things done here. The Neocons pretty much poisoned him after he won in 2000. Still, although he will known for the Iraq disaster, the Afghan war was a good one, and I did support that.

As for Democratic Neocons, there have been a few, the most famous being Zbignew Brsinski (sp). But Democrats in general tend to be Neoliberal, which is also very destructive.

Give me a break. I was talking about THIS century and "The Project for the New American Century (PNAC)" signers that included Jeb Bush. I really don't care much about the neocons "roots" only what they have been doing since 2000. GW might not have signed but his VP and many of his advisors were members of PNAC. Look it up and join us in the new millennium.
