man - this kind of thing happens and the internet comes crashing down on your head. Sure she's a drunk, obnoxious, privledged person who would have been booked on charges if she was male (or shot if she was a black male, amiright?), but i dont think someone should get railroaded out of a career for a bad night.

thick!

Right to work has nothing to do with it. Non-union and at the whim of the employer is what you're talking about. The girl had a bad experience, she isn't talking about her job or anybody in it. If on the other hand, she's a real bitch at work, and that very well could be, then this incident broke the camel's back. OR, Jackson Health is a real bitch to work for and they get rid of people at the drop of hat, which could also be the case.

I wouldn't say so. I don't know what kinds of places you have worked for in the past, but I have worked for 2 different employers who have LEGITIMATE reason to terminate first time offenders. The actions of the employee outside company time HAD a DIRECT impact on profit. And in one instance it was multiple employees behavior. We lost customers because our reputation was hurt. And one of those businesses is still suffering from a bad reputation that occurred back in the early 2000s. Like a few hundred customers bad.

And if I know she is a doctor and beating the hell out of people? I'd rather not be taken to whatever facility she works at since it is my choice. And I'm also an epileptic. That means here specific field would impact me especially. Ya know? Why would I trust her bedside manner? Or her intelligence when she can't even control herself on a night out?

And I do get what you are saying. And I hope they had incidents prior, and it would suck if she is a first timer. But at the same time...this is a different level of offense. She wasn't smoking pot or getting in trouble for public urination or even disturbing the peace. It was battery. So?

I would not want her treating me.
Then again, I would not want to need medical attention in the USA unless I were a millionaire.

Or you could just get health insurance through your employer like everyone else, and then pay your co pay. Which would suck if it is relatively high. But then...you could also check on that when you sign up and make sure it is relatively low.

Explain, if possible, your conclusion. That sort of flippant, snarky sarcasm, with nothing more offered, is just plain childlike, sophomoric nonsense.

If you have to use the words "social construct" just forget I asked.

Right, because no white person born in the USA would ever act that way.

Important lesson here; You can take the person out of the 3rd world country, but you can't take the 3rd world country out of the person.

Why do you think she's a "third-world person"?

that coming from a third world country like spain. bizarre.

She probably just threw away a career and a whoooole bunch of money.

It says she works for a medical group that primarily offers medical care to the poor in Miami, so she can probably do much worse that this and keep her job.

Spain is a modern democracy and member state of the European Union. I am guessing you did not get an A in Middle School social studies.

Yeah, I can't disagree with you on your your sentiments. I think that - as a specific case - with this little gal obviously drunk off her ass, some forgiveness has to be exercised. I say that, because I hate the notion that where I work the company can control my life away from the job. If I'm a high profile guy in a contract, like sports or entertainment, I can understand that, but - just as a person, I am repulsed by the idea of a sort of totalitarian control. Henry Ford did that during prohibition: he would send is new "human resources dept." INTO his line worker's homes (he hated unions), sometimes he'd send cameras as well,(that's how I know about it) and they would make the person admit that there was no liquor in his house - even though THAT was legal! That was just shameful in my view. So I have always had an aversion to that kind of "monopoly"

She might actually be a kind warmhearted person. Everyone can have an off night. I'd love to learn more about her and find out her hopes and dreams.

You just liked the way she looked in those shorts.
