Cologne sex attacks victims' fault because they wore perfume: Muslim cleric

A Cologne imam has said the victims of the New Years Eve mob sex attacks had themselves to blame because they wore perfume.

Sami Abu-Yusuf added that he was not surprised the girls were sexually assaulted, groped and raped, because of the way they dressed.

Hundreds of women were attacked by a mob of men in Cologne's city centre on New Years Eve, with the number of alleged sexual assaults now tallying up to 521, including three rapes.

The article goes on in more detail. I don't care if they are citizens or not, people like this should be deported to Saudi Arabia where they belong. No tolerance for this stuff in secular society!!!!

These are the creatures leading the assault on civilization and give legitimacy to the barbarianism.

I see no reason why civilized countries need to accept people who are so obviously at war with them. Far too few in the west understand that it IS war being fought on their soil as they fight to turn Dar al Harb into Dar al Islam.

Just because this does not involve two countries going at it in conventional ways does not mean this isn't war these creatures are fighting against them, and the sooner Europe grows some balls, the better.

Well quite often these clerics are not born in the West but instead are immigrants so it is likely he came from Saudi Arabia in the first place.

So it was the perfume and the dress, not that the ME people consider the European women as sluts in general? Seems like the Dardanian Albanians that protected some Deutch women from rape are at fault for doing so and should have told the women to go back home and switch clothing and come out without a perfume instead.

There is ample evidence of hostility towards the west by Euro based Imams... but... it's Europe and heads are not buried in sand... they're fixed in concrete.

I believe in free speech, and that speech should be used as in indicator... but the German press, and Euro press don't report this stuff... they try to hide it... as they tried to hide the mass molestation and rape in Köln. It only got attention because Drudge ran it.

Think of that... they... the press... tried their very best to bury this story.

The stabbed in the neck mayor of Köln told women they should not dress provocatively. She should have said... dress as if you're in the 7th century and in a Muslim land... the dimwit.

The German press ought to get on their knees and apologize to Europe... and Thilo Sarrazin... who basically warned about this idiocy... of which he says is worse than he could have imagined.

To be fair, we had and still have quit a bit of a blame-the-victim mentality when it comes to rape here in the US: shouldn't have been wearing those clothes, shouldn't have been drinking so much, etc.

Civilization has only advanced so far....

Huh? So if someone is causing trouble in India they should be automatically deported to the UK if their last name is Smith'? What if the U.K. Doesn't want him because he is an Australian and never set foot in the UK?

Also, the the vast majority of Muslims are not not Arabs...let alone from Saudi Arabia. They are from Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Iran, .bangladesh, Malaysia, The Sudan etc.

Well what I am saying is those kinds of clerics who promote views counter to Western society are usually immigrants from places like Saudi Arabia. Those born in Europe or from other regions usually have Western values and would never say that type of thing.

No they aren't. What do you mean 'like Saudi Arabia'? The USA is more like Saudi Arabia than Pakistan is. Unless things have changed most Muslim leaders in Europe are not Arabs. Saudis don't make up a fraction of a fraction of European Muslims.

European 'leaders' have been saying for years that anyone who thinks mass immigration is not problem free is a rascist, a bigot, a xenophobe and, of course, a knuckle-dragging thug. They have talked themselves into a corner. Fredrik Reinfeldt, our last PM and a do-gooding idiot from central casting, said that because of our open-door immigration policy Sweden is an 'Humanitarian Super Power'. So don't expect much change here unless the one same party, the Swedish Democrats, gets 50% in an election - they are currently aroun 26% in the polls which makes them the second biggest party, just behind the Socialists.

Places with values that do not align with the West. This imam preaches an ultra-conservative form of Islam mainly practiced in Saudi Arabia which to me means he is either from or primarily educated there.
