Conservative US top court justices skeptical over union fees

Re: Unions about to take another hit

The proof is in the policies they push.

In the policies who pushes?

It becomes cheaper to push teachers out before they can save up toward retirement or grow older and sicker.

It stands to reason that's true.

Now provide some examples of where it's happening in actual practice.

I doubt you'll do so, or even attempt to do so, because I've asked you to prove you r claims three or four times already and all you do is double down on making more and more outrageous claims, but in the interest of this becoming a conversation I figure I'll ask.

Education reform has largely been pushed by the business community.

It stands to reason that's true.

So one man's subjective assessment of his incidental experience in one municipality published in on and activist news website is the logical equivalent of proof that there is some vast and nefarious conspiracy afoot.

You do some solid work in proving you claims?

LOL

Duh, it's not a nefarious conspiracy. It is well known in the profession that charter schools pay teachers less and give substandard benefits and that is why teachers have a higher rate of leaving charter schools. The reason the business community is pushing to rid public teachers of their unions is so they can do the same sh*t they do in charter schools. Pay them low wages and burn them out.

Here: The average teacher turnover rate for charter school districts was 46 percent, compared with 13 percent for traditional school districts, according to Texas Education Agency data for 47 local districts from 2006 to 2011.

Teachers' pay varied widely, from an average of $14,497 at the charter school Guardian Angel Performance Academy to $53,907 at Alamo Heights Independent School District. Charter school teachers in general earned about $14,000 less a year than their traditional school peers.

Of the 10 districts rated academically unacceptable by the state in Bexar County last year, all were charters, with turnover ranging from 38 percent to 65 percent. High turnover has been a smoke signal of impending closure for some charter schools. It's harder for charter schools to keep teachers - San Antonio Express-News
