You agree with that ruling?

Lol ! Oh the irony.

Lazy and partisan is pretending that we could or should simply cut and copy Norwegian Socialism and paste it in America and expect comparable results.

That's lazy.

Providing multiple examples of how the ideology you follow and champion negatively impacts societies on a socio-economic level whether they're located on our West Coast, in Southern Europe or in South America is isn't exactly cherry picking either.

For example, Greece was a seen as a working example of European Socialism for years until 2008. A workers paradise right up until the Financial crisis exposed exactly how they had managed to fund their bloated public sector and its unsustainable benefits

They borrowed and spent other peoples money to the point of insolvency by offering up unsustainable benefits to a bloated public sector class at the expense of their private sector economy.

Socialism is parasitic and also apparently corruptive. When the Greek people had a chance to pull away from the ideology that bankrupted their Nation they chose to double down and elect a hard core leftist Socialist.

A Generation of Greek citizens dependant on unsustainable Government giveaways and jobs were hyper receptive to the toxic rhetoric that pits one class against another. To put faith in themselves and not in Government had become a alien concept.

So they chose to put their faith in the promises of a Politician who's first order of bussinesses was to make the case for non-payment due to Nazi war crimes unaccounted for.

Hugo Chavez promised to return the riches of Venezuela back to the people via theft ( Government appropriation ) of privately owned industries. Venezuelan central planners then set out to mismanaged once profitable industries to the point where the Venezuelan economy was dependant on one poorly Goverment run industry and one commodity.

Now Venezuela is a Socialist basket case and thanks to Government printing, price controls and a almost total loss of Foreign investment is struggling with record high inflation and the lack of basic goods and services.

There are so many examples of just how regressive and destructive Socialism is. I dont need to Cherry pick to list them.

And there are many more examples of democratic socialism being a resounding success, and in countries that are even more fiscally responsible and solvent than the United States.

Again, citing worst case minority instances and trying to pass that off as the norm is a blatant act of intellectual disingenuity and laziness. The problem with your argument is that the _norm_ is success and the _exception_ is failure, not to mention the fact that most failures had issues unrelated to socialism that were in large part responsible for failure, typically systemic corruption which is far from the norm in developed socialist democracies around the world which in their majority feature comparable or less corruption than the United States, and almost without variation feature better representation of the public will.
