Did Ted Cruz Reveal Classified Information During the GOP Debate?

Do you think the SOS should conduct any business on private e-mails?

I don't. But there's no evidence that there was any security breach as a result. Just thinking or hoping there might have been doesn't make it fact--except, I guess, for some people, obviously.

So, you're of the "guilty until proven innocent" school. Are you really under the delusion that every FBI investigation leads to a conviction? And you call me "delusional." You claim the FBI is "finding things" but you can't point out a single one of those things. The BENGHAZI!!!! committee has come up with a big bag o' nuthin' after over 3 years of turning over every pebble on that issue. As usual the rightwing is having a premature ejaculation at the dim and dimming prospect that any of the **** they've thrown at Hillary has sticking power.

There's enough smoke here to choke out a whore house. Including Bill, the most regular customer.

Review Confirms Clinton's Email Had 'Top Secret' Information | The Daily Caller

Meanwhile, CNN and MSNBC completely ignore this stuff and just go all Trump all the time. All of her debates are on weekend nights when nobody is watching. It's like this massive mainstream media effort to protect her at all costs.

And you lap it up.

Oh, and thanks for providing me a list of the failed attempts to bring down the Clintons. Every one of those things had exactly nothing to back it up. And didn't some of those accusations include an FBI investigation? Why, yes. Yes, they did.

The only thing you ever got was that, yeah, Bill got a BJ. Pretty shameful behavior, I'll grant. Not even close to as shameful as starting a war on lies, killing scores of thousands of people in that and setting the stage for the horrible ME situation now, oh, yeah, and authorizing torture.

I love it when you post because it always gives me the opportunity to do what keeps bringing me hear: knock down rightwing bull****.

You knock down nothing. But you're so full of the Kool-aid, you can't see through the pee in your eyes.

She's a felon. She's complicit in Bill's harassment and rapes. She's corrupt. And she's a soul-less bitch.

She's the perfect liberal.

Maybe I'm missing something, so if someone could help me, I'd appreciate it.

Wasn't Cruz and Rubio talking about a bill that had just passed, which in some ways supplanted an earlier law? If so...why would that be classified?

That nutcase tool is your source? Oh, I do love you for this. First of all, the "judge" is lying, of course. That is his default setting. There is no "criminal" investigation (any more than there is--yet--any criminal investigation of Cruz's big mouth). From an ABC report, July 26,2015:

The inspectors general for the State Department and intelligence community on Friday disclosed that an internal review of Clinton's system concluded some emails contained classified information and that the inspectors general had sent a non-criminal "referral" to the Justice Department over the matter.
and
The purpose of notifying the Justice Department was to inform the FBI of "a potential compromise of classified information," not to seek a criminal probe, spokeswoman Andrea Williams said.

I hope you never even accidentally come up with a fact because it might be so startling, I'd have a stroke (realizing saying that might motivate you but I'm secure in suspecting that even that won't get in the way of the torrent of untruths that you and those like you pour into DB by the minute).

Oh, and just in case that phrase "contained classified information" gets you all hot and sweaty as if it proves something, it does not mean there was a breach of security the way Cruz made when he may have revealed secret information about our intelligence gathering methods on a nationally televised platform. Now, that's what a breach looks like.

Hoping?? It should find no defense.

She manifestly better than Cruz and every other candidate other than Paul and Kasich.

Better in what way ?

Better at turning North African Nations into terrorist havens via inexplicablly stupid foreign policy decisions ?

Better at setting up private Email servers for the explicit purpose of outrunning FOIA and Congressional Commitee subpoenas ?

Better at manufacturing fanse narratives to explain away a terrorist attack ?

Better at Politicizing the deaths of 4 Americans ?

Better at lying her way through one press conference after the other ?

Better at appealing to low information, ethically challenged partisan hack Americans ??

And this is the schmuck who's supposed to be one of the smartest republicans. Or did he do it on purpose, à la Edward Snowden? Either way, goat or hero, he should be in deep **** soon. How quickly the republican House intel committee chair jumped on this indicates how eager republicans in general same to despise Cruz. He is nothing if not an asshole.

Highlights:

Even Rubio realized on the spot that Cruz ****ed up:

Whatever the outcome of this, Cruz has added new evidence for how horribly unfit he is for any elected (or appointed, for that matter) government office. If it's found that he revealed secret information, even if unintentionally, and suffers no consequences, Edward Snowden should be welcomed back to the country.

.....if the outcome is that he is found NOT to have disclosed classified information, then no, that would not add any new evidence as to unfitness for office.

That is an idiotic argument.

If its found he actually did share some classified information, the next few weeks will be really fun watching Democrats who are constantly giving Clinton a pass go hog wild at Cruz while watching Republicans who have been beating the Clinton drum continually will excuse it as not a big deal.

Yup. And in reverse. Though I would point out that accidental spillage is a pretty different action than a deliberate, prolonged, misuses of classified material for convenience sake.

A liberal calling somebody a liar is rich. You've lied and backstabbed a nation of minorities and walked across their dead bodies after they vote on your lies to achieve the power you have. You'll jump on Al Gore's wagon and "believe" anything to redistribute the wealth you so wish you had. You'll vote for a man with a napkin of a resume as president twice and watch him drive the debt to $20 trillion, and nary bat an eye. You don't care because you don't pay the taxes or have the life we do. You're sole aim is to make us pay for kicking your ass in this world.

They were discussing SIGINT collection capability, which is often stored at the S//SI or TS//SI levels. I have no idea if those data points were or were not, however.

Somehow I don't think you are concerned one bit about the leakage of any classified information. I bet you have zero interest in classified information.

That said, my guess is he'll have just barely skirted the edges and not actually revealed classified info

It did not take long for the Clinton excuse and diversion to set it...

To be honest, I do not think his intent was to reveal classified information, and it is going to be almost impossibly hard for some one speaking publicly to keep track of what all is classified and not in his head. I am not overly worried about this.

The adjective I have heard for Ted Cruz is "reptilian." He is as likable as a poisonous snake slithering thorough the grass when you are walking barefoot.

I heard that someone who knew him in college said they'd rather pick a name out of the phone book at random to be president than elect Cruz

A former colleague asked "Why do people immediately hate Cruz?" and then answered the question with "Because it saves time"

Hoping?? It should find no defense.

She's admitted that it was a bad choice. But if there wasn't a breach: no harm, no foul. Hope has nothing to do with it. If new evidence comes out, I'll look at it.

No, then it just comes back to his default gas bag status of just throwing out any bogus crap he can think up. I know that makes him a perfect republican candidate but still completely unfit for the office he already occupies much less the presidency.

Yup. And in reverse. Though I would point out that accidental spillage is a pretty different action than a deliberate, prolonged, misuses of classified material for convenience sake.

The lengths you people will go to protect the corruption on your side while failing to find it on the other. It's gotta be a syndrome of some kind.

According to whom? Apparently Rubio picked up on it right away. Or do you mean because Snowden revealed it years ago? That's not a green light for anyone who gets secret security briefings to blab on national TV about them.
Once something becomes common knowledge it is no longer considered classified, have not worked with much classified information have you, I have and still do.

The President does a lot of speaking, and ( if he shows up) ingests a lot of very classified information. I'm willing to buy the argument that the ability to separate the two is important in the position.

The Clinton abuse is worth bringing up in this context inasmuch as it is fun to point out hypocrisy of those who would excuse her much worse abuses "because she hasn't been convicted yet", but would jump on Cruz here, when it hasn't been determined whether or not he even did (the IC has already determined that Hillary did).

....Information can indeed remain classified after it exposed due to a spillage.

Good luck with that excuse. Apparently Rubio (member of Senate Intel. Cmte.) and the chairman of the House Intel. Cmte. aren't as cavalier as you, the self-appointed "expert," are. But maybe it's all political because apart from a few malcontent extreme rightwing radicals in the House republicans appear to hate Cruz's guts and who could blame them. What. A. Smarmy. Greasy. Asshole. He. Is.

So. . yeah. As anticipated, the only argument you have is your own invective.

....Information can indeed remain classified after it exposed due to a spillage.

Rarely and when done so it is without logic and is near impossible to charge anyone with leaking it since it is COMMON KNOWLEDGE.

What. A. Smarmy. Greasy. Asshole. He. Is.

What a perfect billboard slogan for Obama and his nicotine-stained smile.

And using "greasy" for a Hispanic guy is racist, right? I thought you people really cared about that stuff.

Not an excuse, simple Reality. And thanks for the complement. I am no Cruz fan or supporter, nor am I Repub so your rant to me on that is of little interest, one should never assume they know things without some actual basis in fact or even better yet actual experience.
