That has nothing to do with your original statement, though, supporting the actions of the Mullahs and all they represent in terms of the terrorism they sponsor or their human rights abuses.

I watched a couple of insurgents blow themselves up with a mortar. It was funny as hell. All that was left was hole with pieces of meat scattered around. Bet they don't have the guts to do that again. I laughed for a week every time I remembered it. They fired it straight in the air and it came straight down.

Well, yeah. If you kill American soldiers Americans aren't going to like you. That's how it works. It is also entirely aside from the fact that the current Iranian regime began its relations with the US on the high note of kidnapping American diplomats in violation of the general international rule that foreign emissaries are not to be harmed.

Preceded by an earlier beginning of relations with the US helping the British protect its oil interests by conducting a regime change and installing somebody into power that the Iranians weren't fond of and cast off. ;)
