U.S. Will Reportedly Send Some Special Forces To Syria

I thought you were saying you hate the comparisons.

your context wasn't clear.

So will you be organizing protests?

I didn't organize or attend any protests last time.

What exactly is your point?

Making up a number other than 50 and everything else Obama has continued really does not come close to comparing in terms of scope, expense, or cost of American life.

really? tell that to the families of those who died in afghanistan.

point is, all the anti-war vitriol of bush from the left had nothing to do with war as so much as it had to do with partisan politics. where are the threads after threads of your ilk calling for obama to be tried as a war criminal? where is your ilk calling for impeachment? where are the 100's of thousands of your ilk marching in the streets?

It's not you bro, it's your kind. I've change my view on war significantly since we went into Iraq, what I find though on the so called "Anti-war" side is abhorrently ignorant simple minded partisan hackery that we see on the other side.

Very few people are against these pointless wars, they are against the other side engaging in said pointless wars, lip service or dismissal when thier side does it.

Far out.

If your point was senseless and confused, then his short answer did prove that senselessness.

So my point that the left is not really anti-war but anti-republican-war was too complicated?

My point that people aren't pro or anti war they are pro or anti the other sides position on the war of the day didn't come through clearly for you?

My bad, I'll try to dumb it down some more for you folk. ;)

No, your point was not too complicated, it was nonsensical, it made no sense. A sound and fury, signifying nothing but some vague anger.

me think people no care bout war, me think people only care about how to get otherside over war.

That's about as dumb as I can make it for you bro. can't help you any further, sorry.

really? tell that to the families of those who died in afghanistan.

Telling that to families of those who died in Afghanistan does nothing to change the fact that Bush's war in Iraq dwarfs the cost of all military engagements under Obama.

So that makes Obama better, because he did the same thing but less of it?

Don't put words on my mouth.

It makes your claim a few pages back wrong. That's all.

I object to quite a bit of what Obama's done in expanding the War on Terror. But we weren't talking about what we thought of what Obama has done.

Our opinions on the validity of what Obama has done do not mean that what he has done has cost more in blood and teasure than Bush's beyond-misguided war of choice in Iraq, which IS what you have been arguing with me about.

So it's a matter of degrees... obama again is better because you can claim less died/were killed under his watch?

Maybe I am not understanding your point if you think I am putting words into your mouth.

True, but there are considerations other than financial.

Obama has embraced Bush's notion of Unitary Executive with enthusiasm. He is every bit the traitor that Bush is.
