Wow. Theft? A shipment of tablets bound for Hobby Lobby headquarters has been seized by US Customs Agents in Memphis, Tennessee. Many of them had been stolen. There is now a criminal investigation under way.

his is ironic considering the hullabaloo over them not providing four forms of birth control.

but I never realized until ow they were a christian organization.

I will no longer give them any support.

I will wait and see if more information is available. right now it doesn't look good.
if they were trying to smuggle them in as to not have to pay the additional fee's and such not a good thing

if they simply bought them from another collector and he is the one that arranged the shipping etc then
they could get off. when it comes to dealing with those types of artifacts it is hard to determine
if they are stolen or not.

unless there is something about 1000 ancient biblical artifacts where stolen from some site kinda hard to prove
they bought them knowing they were stolen.

how tolerant of you. I guess that means you will have a hard time finding any place to shop
as there are a lot of businesses that are Christian owned and operated.

running your business based on how you believe is not being a fundy.
soros can run his businesses however he wants and provide whatever coverage and other benefits he wants and no one says a damn word.

as soon as someone goes I don't want to provide those types of birth control which means they have access to all birth control just not all
of them are covered people with political agenda's get their panties in a wad.

I am excited they are building a HL in my area and I can't wait for it to go up.

It's not a logical leap to say that Hobby Lobby has provided material support to ISIS.

Many Christian owned and operated businesses don't segregate. The idea that Hobby Lobby is a Christian owned and operated business doesn't imply all Christian businesses follow the same mindset as Hobby Lobby. I never once mentioned these businesses don't pay decent benefits nor questioned your excitement (whilst odd) regarding Hobby Lobby opening up shop in your area.

This topic was about one of America's most famously Christian business amassing a vast collection of Biblical antiquities, many of them being looted from the Middle East. It's very ironic that a business espousing itself in Christian values would refuse to pay for birth control for its employees, but has no issue amassing looted antiquities.

China manufactured islands in the middle of shipping lanes? ... nope.
Feds won't prosecute Lerner and the IRS Commissioner might be impeached? ... nope.
Republican Party establishment tearing itself apart? ... nope.
Federal Law Enforcement continue to ignore Sanctuary Cities? ... nope.
No No ... it's Hobby Lobby.
It's shocking really on 2 levels.

So at this point there's an investigation. There doesn't seem to have been any actual charges filed yet. All that's here is a whole lot of speculation.

As is the case with a lot of things, I'll let this one play out to a more concrete level before I get truly concerned or defensive about what's happening. As it stands, there's not enough hard info to really comment significantly on the manner in any way that isn't just speculation colored by bias.
