Yea, Humbolt is really Navin Johnson.
Ask him about his first job......
Biblegate?
Hobbygate?
Lobbygate?
Birthcontrolbacklashgate?
Tabletgate?
I think the tablets were passed through Gibson Guitar in ebony boxes on their way to Hobby Lobby. Wouldn't surprise me a bit. You know how these people are.
Yea - creative thievery in the name of God.
They have a lot of company these days in the 'holier than thou' category.
I have no idea what has gone on with this. I have no idea how these tablets came to be on a market at all, but on the plus side at least they haven't been destroyed. I would like to believe that the Feds are interested in the source in the ME, but given that Hobby Lobby is something of a lightening rod of sorts, who knows?
Many Christian owned and operated businesses don't segregate. The idea that Hobby Lobby is a Christian owned and operated business doesn't imply all Christian businesses follow the same mindset as Hobby Lobby. I never once mentioned these businesses don't pay decent benefits nor questioned your excitement (whilst odd) regarding Hobby Lobby opening up shop in your area.
This topic was about one of America's most famously Christian business amassing a vast collection of Biblical antiquities, many of them being looted from the Middle East. It's very ironic that a business espousing itself in Christian values would refuse to pay for birth control for its employees, but has no issue amassing looted antiquities.
HL does pay for birth controls so your dishonesty is noted. I will wait to see what the investigation yields if they truly knew they were buying stolen goods.
Based on the article they aren't even sure that any of the artifacts are stolen.
Well, this does it. I'm hiding all of my tablets.
so exactly how many ancient Hebrew tablets do you have? lol.
What tablets? Who said I have any tablets?
these are not the tablets your looking for.
