Mike Huckabee Will Not Apologize For Holocaust Remark

Actually, there's nothing funny about Dems not turning out in 2010 and 2014, unless you like the current impotent GOP House and GOP Senate.

Its the fault of liberals and progressives that the GOP has gone bat **** crazy? Really seriously that is to funny:lamo

Have you analyzed which groups of Americans made up the 63.4 % of the electorate that didn't vote in 2014?
How about the 59.1 % of the electorate that didn't vote in 2010?
Surely you know that Dems have traditionally had low voter turnout for mid-terms.

The 2010 census election was a disaster of epic political proportions for Dems--locking in Gerry-Mandered remaps at the Federal Level.
But even more so at the State level, the ones who do the Federal remaps .

If thinking that discussing politics should be more than mindless name calling is malaise, then I will wear the label with pride. And if you actually think the results of 2010 and 2014 happened because democrats did not make enough mindless insults, then you might want to do some actual research.

Try looking at post #26, just before this one, for voter turnout % in the last two mid-terms .

And this has what to do with the GOP going bat **** crazy?

He saw the success that ol' Donny had by not backing down from inflammatory comments and thought that is the only chance he gets any media time so he stuck with what he said. Sad that you have to be a raving lunatic to have a chance now a days.

Huckabee might have overstepped himself this time. Unlike Cruz coming to Trump's aid, looks like Huckabee may have launched out too far and now he's up **** creek without a paddle.

Trump has sucked so much oxygen out of the room, those near the bottom have almost suffocated already. I didn't expect this much entertainment this quickly from the clown bus, but it sure is fun to sit back and watch.

Which has nothing to do with mindless insults. Do try and fail less.

So... you're a "Get my side elected just because" type of fellow? Come on Nimby, you're better than that.

Would you prefer to have a GOPresident appointing more Alitos, Scalias, and Thomas's?

How about the Cabinet and Government Heads who are so crucial?

How about another war in the Mideast with tax cuts for those who don't need them and won't use them?

How about McConnell freezing any Justice appointments Obama has made to the GOP Senate for the rest of his term--just as with Clinton's last two years?
Elections sure have consequences, don't they?

Who would you like to blame for the low DEM turnout in 2010 and 2014?
Owning the House and Senate has simply emboldened this GOP Pretender freak show to try to Over-Trump each other.

Huckabee's comments aren't even the worst I've heard.
GOP Representatives and Senators have tried to one-up him with spraying such sewage as "Obama is the leading terrorist in the world".
Any defense of Obama by even one DEM surrogate?

And what have Dems done with the anti-Iran ads flooding the airwaves--you guessed it--nothing?!
Wait for the beat down next month at DEM town halls on Iran--just as in 2009 with ACA.

Dems still haven't learned what happens to them when they run away from their President as in 2014--just as GOPs did in 2006 and 2008 .

And how exactly will calling republican candidates juvenile names affect that exactly?

where did nota go?

It's almost like you didn't read through the massive 2 page thread we have going on...

Huckabee implied a comparison between Auschwitz and the possession of atom bombs by the Islamic jihadists who rule Iran. That was apt, because those thoroughly evil men want to murder Jews every bit as much as Hitler did. But you, evidently irked that anyone would speak ill of them, directly compared Huckabee to Hitler. Having read some of your other posts, I'm not surprised to see you rush to the defense of jihadists.

Once again, let me recommend a very well-written and enlightening book by Andy McCarthy. He is the former federal prosecutor who played a leading role in the conviction of Abdel "The Blind Sheikh" Rahman for leading the conspiracy to bomb the World Trade Center in 1993. The title of the book is "The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America." People who resent and disdain this country, as leftists and Muslim jihadists both do, have a common cause.

No, he compared the Iran nuclear deal to the Holocaust. That's absurd. I am sorry you fail to see it. I have absolutely no interest in giving you a podium from which to try and make his silly comparison somehow less invalid. Fin.

No need to be sorry--I have not failed to see anything. And what you are or are not interested in does not concern me.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) on Monday refused to apologize for invoking the specter of the Holocaust in his criticism of President Barack Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.

"Three times I've been to Auschwitz. When I talked about the oven door, I have stood at that oven door. I know exactly what it looks like -- 1.1 million people killed," Huckabee, a 2016 presidential candidate, said in an appearance on Fox News' "The Five."

OMG another B-----t crazyGOP'r. What he doesn't realize is that for every evangelical vote he siphons off Carson or Cruz he loses 10 American Jewish votes.

I was under the impression that Jews mostly vote democrat and they account for 2% of the population.
Democratic Jewish voters inch toward the GOP - The Washington Post

Jewish voters: By the numbers | Reuters
National Jewish population: About 2 percent of the U.S. population, with estimates ranging from 5.5 million to 6.5 million.

I believe you need to rethink this.

Believe whatever you like. I have already thought about it quite a lot, for quite a long time. Anyone who doubts that leftists share their Marxist president's disdain for most things American have only to watch them continually run this country down, as all the while they play the apologist for its enemies. There is a great deal of evidence of cooperation between leftists and Muslim jihadists--in fact it is not exaggerating much to call them a fifth column for the jihadists. I have long since stopped caring about their insincere claims of these drones, millions of whom are now taking up space in this country, to have only the best intentions. Quisling and Laval claimed to have noble intentions, too.

And yet, here we are - you've stopped your silly arguments about how 'apt' the comparison was, and I'm still laughing at the absurdity of it.

It's worse he compared Obama to an SS Prison guard marching a prisoner to death.

Remember about 10 years or so ago when Moveon.org ran a couple of ads comparing George W. Bush to Adolph Hitler? I do. It was big big news at the time. It was the first time i knew who Eric Cantor was.

Flash forward to today. Someone compared the sitting President's actions to those of Hitler. Wow, such a novelty. We've never seen that before. By the way, Huckabee has as much chance of being the Republican nominee for President as I do.

He won't apologize because his words did exactly what was intended - make him the topic of discussion. He is failing in the polls, he won't win the Iowa caucus (as he did in 2008), and he's in gigantic trouble. You guys are talking about him. MSNBC is talking about him. The Wall Street Journal and NY Times are talking about him. Hell, ****ing Barack Obama is talking about him. This is what he needs and wants.

But, but they did it first momma!

To what do I owe your obsession with me today? Are you planning to quote every post I made and comment on it? I'm married, and not interested, thanks. But I appreciate your fascination with me. Hope you're having a great Tuesday!
