Obama Apologizes to Castro

If Obama and the Cuban leader meet, do you think Obama will bow to kiss his cigars?

He seems like he reflexively would-he's a smoker you know, with all the phallic stuff that entails. He's probably in to smoking something while he bows. And much like Putin or Un, he will be owned. Thugs read Chump Obama like an open book.

But that's your opinion.

I happen to believe the low info voters are tied to one sided media source without looking at what others have to say, you know, like people who listen to Rush or Faux News all day long, become worked up and incensed so much, they come to forums with itchy typing fingers and repeat what they just heard for the past three hours.

You know this apologist stuff comes from somewhere. When it's repeated enough over the air waves and cablevision, people really begin to believe the stuff they hear, as biased and untrue as it might be, now that's low info, or, misinformed.

I agree that voters who tune into Rush or Fox tend to be low-info.

I should clarify. There's LOW INFO voters, and then there's NO INFO voters.

Well, you prompted me into searching Google for the phrase "low information voter" and this was at the top of the list of search results;

Low information voter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Low information voters, also known as LIVs or misinformation voters, are people who may vote, but who are generally poorly informed about politics. The phrase is mainly used in the United States, and has become popular since the mid-1990s.

Low-information signaling referred to cues or heuristics used by voters, in lieu of substantial information, to determine who to vote for. Examples include voters liking Bill Clinton for eating at McDonald's, and perceiving John Kerry and Barack Obama as elitist for wind-surfing and golfing respectively.

I'm sure the media will be filming and photographing Obama playing golf while on break in Hawaii. That's all we'll hear about for the next two weeks.

In the way that a murdering dictator who presides over leftist poverty, no freedom of press, or expression, political imprisonment, etc just got his way. Liberals do this like its cool.

Shall we post the picture of your boy Bush kissing the Saudi prince right on the kisser?

Please educate us, in detail, of how Raoul Castro "got his way." What concessions has he been granted, other than a 45-minute phone call?

Theres plenty of ways, he just gave a commie dictator plenty of ammo. You may like that, but well-you are also an Obama fan.

Ive never been a registered Republican, Kobie. But truth is truth. Put on Young Turks, you will feel better.
Not a republican? oh. say, aren't you the one who critiqued liberal republicans a few days ago?

Ammo to do WHAT.

It's funny isn't it? Castro's "ammo" now consists of what? Telling Cubans that the US wants to open negotiations? Telling his people that communism has triumphed over capitalism? It's almost like he thinks that after 50 years of living in abject poverty, Cubans would actually believe that communism has beaten capitalism. I bet he thinks Castro is a powerful world leader. Remember, US Conservative is the same guy who swears that Putin was making Obama look bad. Currently, Russia's currency is worth a 3rd of what it was a year ago, and he's all quiet. For a guy who spent like 15 years in university, he doesn't have much of a grasp on world politics.

These guys are acting like Cuba is North Korea. It's laughable, the mental gymnastics these fellas will put themselves through.

Even a slight majority of the Cuban-American population in Miami-Dade, the single most influential voting bloc in the entire U.S., opposes continuing the embargo of Cuba.

It doesn't matter what his people think-he will tell them what to think.

Or WHAT.

It's plainly obvious that you know NOTHING about Cuba.

You claim to be a student of history. The opening of the USSR to western culture is what precipitated its downfall, yet you are opposing the same for Cuba, for what reason? Cold War grudge?

Oh. I know why. Because it's Obama.

Most of the liberals are northeastern. There are plenty of moderates-too many and that includes Mitch McConnell.

I know a bit about Cuba. Dated a Cuban girl for years and got to hear from her parents what life was life there. One got out through a monastery and the other came here by going to Spain for a medical problem with his eye.

I mean substantive info, Kobie-not what you read in New Yorker.

Lmao, Cubans aren't the brainwashed savages you make them out to be. Quit being so ethnocentric and travel a little bit. Maybe go to Cuba and meet some Cubans? Get a feel for the culture? I've been to Habana a few times. They probably criticize Castro far more than US politicians do.

The Cuban-American community of MIAMI-DADE, for Christ's sake, has said enough is enough.

He's making it up Kobie. He just made up a story about dating a Cuban girl, and hearing about her parents criticizing the government, and a post before that, he claimed that Cubans would be told what to think. He doesn't see the contradiction in those statements. Does he believe her parents started criticizing and disbelieving the government after they left? Well, if the story is true, then one has to agree that they left because they refused to believe what the government was telling them to believe. With 2-3 million Cubans who have left the country, does he believe the majority of people in Cuba will believe what they're told? He just made up a story which contradicts his earlier statements and he's too concerned with attacking Obama to actually see how his story contradicts his own statements.

Oh, I'm well aware that pretty much everything US Conservative says is a lie. I'm used to that. I just didn't want to call him on his rhetorical paradox until he had really backed himself into a corner.

Yeah, he's been caught making quite a few things up but this has to be the silliest. The only Cuban he has ever seen is Desi Arnaz.
