Demario Bailey, 15, fatally shot during robbery attempt, police say suspects in custo

Re: 15 yr. old Black Teen killed during attempted robbery

The only thing you've proven with that statement is how you ignore what black people are saying so that you can exploit the deaths of black people

You are exploiting black lives every time you claim that no one is protesting black on black violence in order to distract attention from the deaths of black people at the hands of police officers.

You can lie all you want about how no one cares but all you're proving is how your exploitation of the deaths of black people requires dishonesty

Did you read that? Since 1989

IOW, you've been ignoring black people for at least 35 years (that is, except when you lie about them in order to exploit their deaths for your political agenda)

:lamo

PERfect.

You cited a song from 1989 (ever heard that song? Dont lie!). And they re-released a version of it 20 years later (ever hear THAT version? Dont lie!). And what did they do for the 20 years in between? Cuz...like...we are just TRIPPING over their organization and their day to day efforts to bring about change...right? :lamo

Oh...and as for the other ever so present attempts at rallies (you know...the once every year, once every other year, every five years events)...lets see...one of them attracted an estimated 150 people ('estimated' usually means about 50 people showed up). Another attracted 88 (wahoo...they counted ALL of them). Hell...we had 128 people at our small little annual DV candlelight vigil in October. 50 gathered at one of them in Gary Indiana 2012. Powerful! Mind you...nothing since...but hey...baby steps, right? Oh...and BTW...SINCE that 50 person 'spontaneous' rally there were 98 murders in 2 years alone. 2014 is shaping up to be far worse. and their 80 deaths per 100,000 gives Gary the title of Murder Capital of the World.

Yeah man...when it comes to caring and engaging...you are just 'killing' it.

You may not realize what you have stumbled onto, but this place is called a 'debate forum'. It is a place where people gether to discuss ideas, viewpoints, countering viewpoints, etc. Theoretically...the level of ones 'care' demonstrated here is limited to the amount of time and attention dedicated to specific causes or ideas represented on these things called 'threads'. I do 'care' and have offered actual ideas on changing things. Unfortunately, too many people like you are invested in saying "Hey! **** you about that whole caring thing! I care even though I NEVER discuss it in any way shape or form and always am quick to divert attention from it when it comes up. THATS how much I care, bitch! SO eat it!"

Cuz yeah...you 'care'....

Now...in the real world, what I do isnt really any of yours or anyone elses business and the last thing I give a **** about is impressing people like you. No...I dont do much by way of charities or activities to end black on black crime. Truth be told...where I live the people I tend to work with that come from a criminal background are far more likely to be Native American and Latino than black. Ive run prison groups...Ive run parolee groups. I work with several organizations but I can/must honestly say, none of them are 'end black on black violence' charitable organizations. Then again...we also dont have much by way of police brutality against blacks here either.

Re: Demario Bailey, 15, fatally shot during robbery attempt, police say suspects in c

The root of this problem is a lack of positive role models and that the parents are screwed up for whatever reason and not being parents. The other problem is lack off opportunities in the black communities. Englewood on Chicago's south side is a barren wasteland. Businesses don't invest in these communities. They open up shop in the affluent white neighborhoods on the North side. This isn't an easy problem with easy solutions. It is tragic.
