Police are being militarized because of constitutionalists

Well, I don't normally read stuff from InfoWars and you may be justified in considering Alex Jones to be nothing more than a conspiracy theorist, but that article did have links from other sources. Heck, you, as a liberal, might even be inclined to pay attention to the Mother Jones link, eh?

In any case, the statement in the video was pretty clear. That policeman's only justification for the acquisition of that equipment was a possible gunfight with constitutionalists. Perhaps the conspiracy is on the part of the police in that community.

Hardly proof of a thesis. Its not constitutionalists that are rioting. I have yet to see a Tea Party protest require police response.

The point the article was making is that this police officer saying constitutionalists is the cause of police militarization is a result of the training he has undergone. Plain and simple the police officer says the reason they acquired the tank is because of constitutionalists and gun hoarders. It makes you think about the actual training these police officers are undergoing, in retrospect the officer should've said the reason we have this tank is to protect constitutionalists

That Constitutionalists (among others) are looked upon with disregard by the government.

Basically, the police are trained to use a lot of that equipment on protesters. IMO, people who want to protest the government are seen as a threat.

Well, one thing you can say about Obama's Justice Department is that they discriminate against right-wing protesters more than left-wing protesters...probably because they see the right-wing protesters as more of a threat to their agenda than the useful idiots on the left.
