A lot of stuff at Wal-Mart is made in China, so Wal-Mart can say it treats it's workers well all it wants to, while importing items made with slave labor.

There are a lot of paid union workers on those picket lines, true story.

Walmart getting called out on their oppressive labor practices. First judge decision since OUR Walmart was formed. I suspect more decision like this one to come not in Walmart's favor but in favor of the employees.
Another judge that needs to be removed from the bench.

He should of told those useless vermin that they should have to wear what walmart tells them and if they don't like the pay and benefits, then get some education and make themselves more "valuable" and marketable in the labor market. No one is entitled to more than market value for the labor they provide.

Please educate yourself on Walmart's business practices. This is not the job of forum members. If you don't have the knowledge, then move along and quit wasting bandwidth by asking everyone what they know.

I really wish people would stop using terms slave labor to describe low paying jobs. A slave lacks choice and is forced into something, not a person that voluntarily gets a job and again accepts the wage offered. There is plenty of things you can describe a wage below what someone can live on, but slave labor is not one of them.

Well what I'm told is that if unions can not force people into their union they can not get their demands meet. It's the same argument you hear for nations really. If a government can not force all people in their territorial area under their command then they can't govern. It's an interesting thing for me anyway to argue an idea is sound when it requires involuntary servitude.
