Walmart is not stupid enough to voluntarily make a contract with any union.

Ergo, yes any "strike" is just employees failing to show up to work and yes, that is grounds for termination.

I like how the right-wing response to ****ty employers is always "just get a different job!"

please just walk out of your job and see if you are fired. it is a standard company policy everywhere.

as I said if you don't like the schedule then they can look for something else.
a union isn't going to help their schedule. the company can still set whatever schedule they want.

if they don't want to work it even in a union they can be fired.

Depends on which state you live in. There are some states where cost of living is higher than other states.

It's sound advice, Deuce. You wouldn't work at mickey D's because of the pay, would you? You would get a different job.
Mickey D's isn't a career job for most of the employees and they know that.

Particularly with ObamaCare, the government has HUGE penalties against hiring full time employees. This was one way to artificially inflate employment numbers. The blame falls 100% on the government.

And the leftwing response is to bring in millions more unskilled laborers and make them legal to insure wages remain as low as possible.

The increasing number of unskilled labor including by illegal immigration, combined with the government making it generally required to move jobs out of the USA, has lead to a job shortage of tens of millions. When there are 100 people who apply for 1 job, wages will be low - which is what Democrats really want just as Republicans do.

no kidding. it's amazing how one can defend a corporation selling its product for as much of a profit as possible and then turn around and get defensive / hostile when someone tries to do the same for his or her labor.

anecdotal evidence aside, that hasn't really been the case for the people i know who worked there.
