That is the most damning thing about it. I have friends who don't believe, but are the kindest and most gentle people I know. The fact that they would be sent to hell by a supposedly loving god by not believe in the right thing, just sickened me. It's nothing but a control tactic set in place by evil men in the past. We should not continue that evil tradition. We should not believe in a god like that, we should believe in each other, and have morals based around that.

I'm not as familiar with it, but the same anti-gay, anti-women stuff, I don't know about the slavery issue, is in it, and it is as equally commendably.

I'm an atheist that believes organized religion is just a tool used as population control. That being said, it was because of the Christian reformation that humanity started revolting against the power structure of the church. It was also the Christian revolution that allowed things like classical liberalism and enlightenment theology to take place, and then because of that theology the eventual ban of slavery and the giving of women's rights. So, remember there are good things that have been a result of Christianity as opposed to other religions around the world

Now Putin isn't the best leader or even someone I as a conservative admire, I think his policies are less libertarian then what I like, then again I don't know too much about his policies. However, I do know that we as the west are bullying Putin and we should be more concerned with ourselves then financing an overthrow of Ukraine to create a bigger e.u. In order to rectify sanctions of a sovereign nation with nuclear capabilities
Eh... so you don't know what his policies are... but you know we're bullying him?

It's almost like you make it up as you go. The Russian ruble going down would only make the AK47 a more attractive choice if it wasn't produced in about... oh I don't know.... the 20 other countries that have made its value drop for decades. Secondly, you shucked and jived so much I almost forgot you didn't answer my question. Putin is so good at his geopolitical game that he's managed to cripple the Russian economy, cut the rubles value by half, and made investors flee from the country. That's the geopolitics game Obama should be afraid of? Get serious.
All of those other countries who manufacture the AK-47 have to pay royalties to Russia.

But everyone wants the AK-47 that has been manufactured in Russia.

I'm sure you know what a 03-Springfield rifle is. The USA used them during WW l and into WW ll. What makes the 03 Springfields special, is that it uses a Mauser action. For every 03 rifle that was produced, the U.S. Army had to pay Mauser royalties on. While American soldiers and Marines were fighting the Huns in France, Mauser kept getting those royalty checks from the USA during the war. Funny how it works isn't it ?

    Same thing with Bofor.

Oh man...that reminds me of a certain George Carlin clip...not sure if it would pass the moderation test, though, or I'd post it in a heartbeat...

I'm pretty sure that the "Feds" will stop propping up America's economy around early 2017.

As for the Russian ruble. Not good for the civilized Western world when the Russian ruble is weak. The weapon of choice by the bad guys in the world are the Russian AK's and 7.62X39 mm ammunition. I weak Russian ruble means the bad guys can buy more AK's and ammunition for less money. It's how it works in the geopolitical game.

Pay close attention to OPEC and especially Saudi Arbabia. They been playing both sides, always have going back to the 1970's.
    Greetings, APACHERAT.

I read somewhere recently that Russia is getting rid of US dollars. My question is why? Several possibilities came to mind, none of them pleasant. Anyone have any info on this?
