Critics Rip Rucker For Performing 'White Christmas' After Garner Decision

Given the amount of "resisting" he was doing (virtually none), it was clearly excessive.

Watch the video again. The officer who put him in the choke hold did so from behind, where Garner couldn't see him, and he was dogpiled by four other officers.

A very large man was swiftly taken to the ground after he resisted arrest. There was no excessive force. It is a figment of your imagination. It was force sufficient to bring a very large man under control before he could hurt anyone around him or even hurt himself.

He died because he had abused his body for a couple of decades. Garner was the only one who is responsible for his unfortunate death. He is the only one who knew just how screwed up he was.

Check with the New York Police Department, It's their rule that we're talking about.

Then you are a liar. And worse, you know you are a liar. Breaking a police policy is not the same as breaking a law. And by now you know it.

I haven't seen how many times he was nabbed for "resisting arrest" before, but it definitely wasn't 30.

That said, his prior rap sheet has no bearing on whether the police used excessive force in subduing him, which I think it's plainly obvious they did.

I don't believe that rap sheet will keep the city and/or the cops from losing the $75 million dollar lawsuit that Garners family has filed.

The city will be paying a lot of cash out to that family.

That this man was "resisting arrest" to a level that five officers had to subdue him is a figment of YOUR imagination. His level of resistance was token at best. At no point were any officers in danger.

"Resisting arrest" does not give carte blanche to police to use however much force they feel like using. Jumping in with a chokehold -- a move that is banned by the NYPD -- is excessive force. Piling 600+ pounds of police officer on the man's chest is excessive force.

Not according to the coroner, he wasn't. I'll take the coroner's assessment over that of some guy on the internet who constantly screeches about tyranny, yet rushes to defend agents of the state killing someone on a sidewalk.

The NYPD is just using coercive force to restrict the freedoms of their officers to kill suspects deemed not physically fit enough to survive resisting arrest. Tyranny! Thanks, Obama!

Tell that to the court when the families lawsuit goes to trial.

Whether or not some family wins a lottery is beside the point. You are a liar. I know that now and will adjust my behavior toward you accordingly.

Once he began to resist arrest what do you believe should have happened?

I saw a very big man go to the ground in about ten seconds. That sounds perfect to me. No one got hurt and he was under control in about three minutes. This seems like the right amount of force to use to get control of a situation before it could get out of control. A police sergeant was present and did not stop it.

The coroner certainly has his say. A very fat, out of shape, and in very bad health man chose suicide by cop by resisting arrest. Heart disease killed Garner. Decades of too much food and too much drink set up the conditions.

My defense is of the grand jury. I oppose the mob mentality and the lawlessness.

The police officer will have his moment but not because of a crime. He violated a police policy. Given that it ended with a death I doubt it will go well for him.

Wait ... you're saying Garner CHOSE to die? "Suicide by cop" means you are intentionally getting yourself killed by police.

He didn't say it was a law, he said it was their rule. Can't you read???

Having a family member killed by a cop using a forbidden chokehold isn't winning the lottery, but the city and that cop are looking at a huge pay-out to that grieving family, who I'm sure would rather have Mr. Garner back.

Why else would a very fat, very sick man resist arrest? Maybe his diseases brought on mental illness.

I see illegal has become "forbidden."

I don't know what will happen with Garner, the slip and fall lawyers, and New York City. That is not my problem.

Either read or stay out. He said it was illegal. This late in the story it is a lie. He is a liar. I get it.

He can read, but he chooses to misinterpret what he reads.
You are just not that good a liar.

Garner didn't slip and fall, he was slammed to the pavement by a cop using a forbidden chokehold. Right now he's dead as a result of that and New York City is looking at a big pay out.

And you are still a liar.

What makes you think that you are?
Whatever I may be it is absolutely certain what you are. I am done with you.
