I used to get stopped almost weekly when I was in the military. Working graves, there was no place to eat at night so invariably between 1-3 AM you would have to drive off base to find someplace. Coincidentally, 1-3 AM is the busiest time for cops to pull people over DUI. It was annoying, but it was routine. Get pulled over, have the cop put his face in front of your face to check for alcohol, give some warning on some bull**** reason for pulling you over in the first place, and carry on.

Yeah, pretty much the same for me, minus the DUI checking, that is. They just ask me, "What are you doing?" as I'm holding the leash to my GSD no less

Pontiac version of Stop and Frisk minus the Frisk.
Somebody posted in another thread a graphic with all the so-called black organisations like the NAACP that exist and asking why there are none for whites.
Maybe the person asking the questions should try to live in a black person's skin for a day.

    Simply stupid.

A stupid, moronic response by a single digit IQ with a gun to a complaint by paranoid folk that shouldn't have even drawn a response. This says more about the people of Pontiac than the state of policing.

And, again, it is not said but we all know Pontiac is predominantly upper middle class white people, and this man, it would seem from his accent, is African-American. I know no one there would call the cops if it were me walking with my hands in pockets....on a hot day.

I don't have any reason to believe that the video is edited but the clip shown lacks additional context. For example, we don't know if the cop came up and said "Excuse me sir. I'd like to ask you a question" or whether he said "Get on your knees mother****er or I'm going to blow your head off!"

No, but they fail to recognize that the video doesn't tell the whole story here. That officer was responding to suspicious person complaints in the area, an area it's suggested there are a lot of home robberies. Was the officer supposed to refuse the call?

The officer said he was responding to calls of worry about the man walking with his hands in his pockets. End of story.

Judging by the video, it clearly was not the latter.

No, it wasn't. However, if one only looks at the response of the detainee it may as well have been.
