Ferguson Protesters Chain Mall Exits Shut

The St. Louis justice system failed "them"? Nonsense. The only argument you could make, however wrong it is, is that it failed Michael Brown and by extension, his family and friends. The rioters and looters are owed nothing as a result of the shooting of Michael Brown, anymore than I am owed anything by the St. Louis justice system as a result of the shooting of Michael Brown.

I am guessing the protestors were emotionally vested in the decision, because they believed that the police was doing everything possible to get the desired outcome. I can only guess the belief's of the protestors, but I guess they believed that Michael willson was guilty of murder.

No, it doesn't.

Brown's side was represented as well.

Just because you didn't get the outcome you wanted doesn't mean that the system is rigged.

I don't think the system is rigged.

The protestors are the ones that think the system is rigged.

Monday morning Dec.01 I watched MSNBC in the morning and the question about the presence and timing of the National Guard in Ferguson. This pampering of the rioters rights is disgusting. Question: Why is their no small group of organizers broadcasting throughout the community before the people assemble at night to not harm their own peoples businesses? Don't you think everyone knows the looters always find a "cause" as an excuse to burn and steal? How can this crap be shoved aside as the right to protest when in fact it is nothing to do with the incident or the right to protest?

That was actually kind of a funny thing to watch. On one side they don't want a "military police presence" because it's "intimidating" and chills the willingness of protesters to voice their opinion but as soon as the riots started they were all "You purposely held off the national guard because you knew there would be fires and looting and you just wanted that footage for TV!"

Based on what?

Darren Wilson? I think you mixed your players.

I'm sure many of them do believe that Wilson committed murder. But the GJ didn't agree with them. That doesn't give them the right to pillage and destroy the private property of others.

I can only guess because I don't personally know any of the protestors.
Then since you have already presumed to guess, go ahead and guess what they base their 'belief' on.

When people are suffering from a combination of anger, grief, and frustration, it is difficult to try and reason with them when they emotionally lash out.

What do people have to feel this combination of anger, grief, and frustration over?

I've had emotional lash outs out of anger. I had one this morning about canned hunts. I didn't destroy anyone's property while doing it.

Personal bias? Gut feelings? I don't know for certain.
So THATS the foundation of a 'belief' that justifies protests, riots, destroying other black citizens lives, etc? Personal bias without regard to facts? Gut feelings IN SPITE OF facts?

You arent painting those protesters in a very flattering light. In fact you are making them loom rather stupid.

The fact that a man they believed killed a teenager who according to some witnesses was unarmed.

According to some witnesses was unarmed?

According to all witnesses, including Officer Wilson, Brown was unarmed. There was never any doubt that Brown was unarmed, and nobody ever claimed he was armed.

the teenager WAS unarmed. It didnt stop him from assaulting a store clerk and then later attacking an armed cop.

Again I don't personally know any of them so I can not fully provide the justification.

I am not trying to find the justification, I am only stating what made the protestors do what they did.

Conflicting accounts paint a different picture.
No...the loudest voices offered lies which were countered by witnesses testimony and forensic evidence. There was never any hands up dont shoot, or executions, or shots in the back...all lies.

You are speculating. You just speculated that because of their own personal bias and without regard to facts, THAT is why the acted.

Some witness's claim that the officer was the aggressor and killed brown while he was trying to submit.

Some witness's claim that the officer was the aggressor and killed brown while he was trying to submit.

Again, no. Please stop forwarding this already debunked info. The ones that were shown to be actual witnesses, their stories all agree Brown and Johnson were the aggressors.

Some witness's claim that the officer was the aggressor and killed brown while he was trying to submit.

That doesn't have anything to do with what I posted.

Which witnesses said this to the Grand Jury....can you tell me their witness numbers?

Some witness's claim that the officer was the aggressor and killed brown while he was trying to submit.

Some people claim that Elvis is still alive. Some people claim that there are aliens being held captive at Area 51. It's because of such claims that we also rely on physical evidence. When claims match up with physical evidence we give them more credence. When they are in conflict with physical evidence we give them less credence. We DO NOT punish people based on unsubstantiated claims.
