What is being protested is the justice system being rigged in favor of the cop, who told a story that turned a delinquent guilty of petty theft into some sort of beast. Wilson says that he heard brown was grunting like some aggressive animal. That sort of description paints the picture of events unfairly.
Then there was all that undeniable physical evidence that backed up the officer's statement 100%, but that's OK, you can ignore little things like truth and facts in order to perpetuate your dream of hate.

Why? Because it just doesn't matter to 'em.
Nevertheless I haven't seen anyone ask any of them yet.

One other thing ... you'd think normally a person would get pissed at anyone who's too obviously trying to play on their ignorance or predispositions.
If they don't, it's because the excuse is welcome.
That's the way it works. If you can find someone to justify what you want to do anyway, the veneer of justification has been provided. I think you're right. The rest of it doesn't matter anyway. Michael Brown already received all the justice he's going to get, and the rest are just pissing on his grave for their own perceived benefit. The usual suspects have all shown up to cash in on the unrest they helped fuel.

I posted this in another thread....in 2011, "40 people killed by law enforcement officers in NYC. 44% of those shot were white (15% of white people shot were in posession of a firearm). 33% of those shot were Hispanic. 22% (9 people) were black (56% of black people were in posession of a firearm."

40 people shot in over 23,000,000 civilian contacts with 28,075 arrests involving criminal possession of and/or use of a firearm.

Now...I'm not going to speak for 'white people' or 'black people' but I will say that from MY perspective...the reason I'm not upset when a white guy is shot by cops is because I tend to believe that in the VAST majority of cases, they deserve to be shot. Considering the statistics and the fact that blacks represent 23% of the population but a vast majority of ALL violent crimes and 80% of the perpetrators of violent criminal acts against blacks in NYC, its hard to get too spun up about the numbers.

Again...its one thing where there is a case of abuse. But hanging your cause on EVERY incident just makes your cause look foolish.

So if the people of New York had a protest about these people being shot, would they be automatically wrong?

56% of black people were in posession of a firearm
    .

I see nothing wrong with black people making use of their Second Amendment rights.

If they had a protest based on all of them, yes. If there is an acutal case involving an inappropriate shooting that was mishandled by the department and they created a nationwide disturbance while ignoring the fact that there was 1 or maybe 2 incidents out of 23,000,000 that MAY have been mishandled...yeah...they would probably still be cause driven ****heads and automatically wrong. But your question proves the point. You dont care about the 318 dead black people at the hands of black people, or about the 23,000,000 contacts with civilians...you want to find a way to justify riots over cases which you know absolutely nothing about and can only speak in vague generalities about because...oh yeah...you know NOTHING about them...but somehow, that 'proves' there is a 'problem' and worthy of 'protests'.

You're not upset because it does not present a threat to whites collectively.

That's not about how the police treat people. I care about how the government treats people.

Just wrong. I'm sorry, but even if you think the grand jury was wrong, it's unlikely that these people in Seattle were on that grand jury. They have nothing to do with it.
There are much better outlets for those who believe that the shooting of a strong-armed Black thug trying to kill people was unjust.

Instead of pointless marching, rioting and chaining doors shut, I'd recommed each person sitting on a streetconer getting a can of gas and...

Why do you capitalize black, why even mention it?

How dare that person make a political statement like that? Flames and smoke in the road are a terrible inconvenience to people.
