Reporter Suspended For Defending Evolution Comes Back, Gives Immediate Middle Finger

Re: Reporter Suspended For Defending Evolution Comes Back, Gives Immediate Middle Fin

Arguing with evolution deniers is like trying to teach Mandarin to your dog. You can impart knowledge all day, but at the end of it the dog's just going to crap on the rug and walk away.

Re: Reporter Suspended For Defending Evolution Comes Back, Gives Immediate Middle Fin

and now the strawman argument of why they don't.

sorry according to evolutionist it doesn't stop so there is no reason that monkey should stop evolving into humans. however we know where humans come from.
that is other humans not apes.

they have not found the common ancestor. the oldest skull found is 1.8m years old please see the article I posted.
it shows again the humans begat humans there is no common ancestor. it simply doesn't exist and they have never found it.

yes I know they came up with the whole common ancestor nonsense because they couldn't prove the other. every so called missing link discover was false or fake.

I really like the one where the so called skull cap was nothing more than an elephant kneecap.
yet it was herald as one of the most scientific discoveries of all time till well they figured out that it wasn't what they thought.

I welcome our alien overlords.

Please...don't do science anymore.

He wasn't suspended for "defending evolution", he was suspended for publicly arguing with a co-worker.

Re: Reporter Suspended For Defending Evolution Comes Back, Gives Immediate Middle Fin

that is what evolutionist say happened it isn't me saying it. it is exactly what Darwin said. that we evolved from apes.
if so I think you need to go tell the people spouting this *evolutionists* that they don't know what they are talking about.
...
The continued existence of apes doesn't contradict evolution. Let me explain this to you:

Evolution is not a straight line. It's more like a BRANCHING tree. We didn't "evolve from monkeys," we share a common ancestor with monkeys. (and chimpanzees and gorrillas and so on).

At some point, ape-like species split into several BRANCHES, and on one of those branches you find us. On another branch, you find monkeys....

I didn't realize that about the number of chromosomes. Down syndrome is caused by an extra set of chromszomes. It's also the most common genetic disorder in humans. I wonder if the propensity to have extra chromosomes could be because we have long ago ancestors who did.

Re: Reporter Suspended For Defending Evolution Comes Back, Gives Immediate Middle Fin

It sure as hell is settled... we don't know all of the details, like gravity, but that does not mean we are uncertain as to fact.

Indeed. I often will ask Creationists to provide examples of commercialized products their "science" helps product that aren't media propaganda.

99% of the time Creationists will run. 1% of the time they'll claim everything since God made it. I have yet to have a Creationist actually cite something their "science" helps commercially produce. If your "science" is deemed to be completely commercially useless, that suggests it has zero basis in reality.

We may not know everything, but when evolution is used to fuel my gasoline car and creationism just gets used to build props in a creationist museum, it's darn clear to me which is the better "theory."

Also, X Factor as abandoned this thread. Having his blatant dishonesty pointed out over and over was just a bit too much for him.

Re: Reporter Suspended For Defending Evolution Comes Back, Gives Immediate Middle Fin

So am I safe to assume that X-Factor has abandoned this thread after we constantly pointed out his grossly large level of dishonestly?

Just calm the **** down. Lol. What did you want me to answer?

Somewhere in our past, chromosome 2 and 13 of our common ancestor fused.

Its a miracle...no wait...it is logic and reason. Fraud creationist Ken Ham will not get tax breaks for his silly Noah's Ark amusement park.

Secular victory: No tax breaks for Ken Ham’s Ark Park
December 10, 2014 by Michael Stone 2 Comments

In a victory for science, secular values, and the separation of church and state, Kentucky has withdrawn its offer of $18 million in tax breaks for Ken Ham’s Noah’s Ark theme park.

The good news means Kentucky taxpayers will not be forced to subsidize an evolution denying Creationist theme park being built by Christian fundamentalists hoping to indoctrinate children with ignorant, discredited religious superstitions.

Kentucky Tourism Secretary Bob Stewart says the planned project has evolved from a tourism attraction into an outreach for the Christian ministry that is building it. Stewart said:

“state tourism tax incentives cannot be used to fund religious indoctrination.”

Stewart said the Ark Encounter religious themed park changed from a tourist attraction to a Christian ministry, so state tax incentives cannot go to support it. He also said the group was no longer honoring its pledge to not discriminate in hiring for the Ark Park.

Hey don't expect public money, if you publically state you will only hire people who think like you do.
The state government thought it was all a great idea when it was 'creating' jobs for the masses...

Re: Reporter Suspended For Defending Evolution Comes Back, Gives Immediate Middle Fin

Evolution, which is the change in the inherited characteristics of biological populations over successive generations, is indisputable fact.
No. We've understood that "the inherited characteristics of biological populations change over successive generations" for thousands of years. Such changes may bring about evolution, but the changes themselves are not evolution.
