Re: Gallup: Peak Number of Americans Delaying Medical Care Over Costs

Someone let me know when the ACA actually does something for those of us who have been paying for employer healthcare for years without assistance from the government. It's a nice entitlement program, but it isn't worth **** to anyone who didn't need the entitlement. When healthcare costs actually become "Affordable" (like that first "A"), then it will be positive. That isn't going to happen.

Prior to Obamacare, our healthcare system was the most expensive and one of the less effective in first world. The PPACA, given that it was more of an insurance mandate than healthcare reform (nothing really changed in the delivery system), is not likely to change that.
actually it is as obamacare was supposed to lower costs. it hasn't lowered costs it has in fact sent premiums and healthcare costs in general soaring way above normal levels.
if it contained costs then costs wouldn't be rising they would be going down they are not.

if premiums were going lower in price but they aren't.
Obamacare sends health premiums skyrocketing by as much as 78 percent - Washington Times

the continued lie that premiums and costs are going down is nothing but BS. it is about time the liberals woke up and realized that obamcare is a failure.

prior to obamacare lol it still is expensive what are you talking about however what you fail to realize the reason for the expense.
the US leads the world in Medical procedures, Medical technology and we have some of the best doctors in the world that practice medicine. we are also one of the leaders in
RND for medical research. that all costs money. while other countries sit back and just buy what we create at a lower cost.

you are also wrong about the effectiveness of the US medical system. we are highly more likely to survive diabetes, cancer and other major medical issues here in the US compared to elsewhere.

exactly obamacare does nothing to manage costs.
the real cost to medical care is paperwork and defensive medicine combined they make up 80 cents of every dollar we spend on medical costs.
when a doctor spends more time doing paper work than treating patients there is a huge issue.

when a doctor has to order 10 more tests than needed just so he isn't sued there is a huge issue and people wonder why costs continue to climb.

now obamacare has lied even more.

they are proposing new rule that if you do not enroll you will not keep your existing plan but be enrolled in the 2nd lowest costing silver plan.
if you like your plan you can keep it what a load of BS.
