Illegal drunk drivers, sex abusers, drug dealers, gun offenders, no problem.

You want me to take ICE instructions seriously when we have a President who regularly thumbs his nose at the rules unless it is politically advantageous to recite them?

This is the precedent the president is following. I can bring up a Supreme Court case that supports the president in this matter.

I bet that every deportation will challenged by lawyers.

Yup. The guidelines are so loose and non specific, they just beg for litigation. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was not lawyers furnished or contracted by our own Justice Dept. at our expense.

I don't understand what you see is wrong with this flexibility.

What would you prefer? That every illegal be deported no matter what?

How is this not simply "profiling":

deciding whom to stop, question, or arrest for an administrative violation;

Without even a stop or question the odds of finding out anything else are slim to none. This is my objection to ICE ignoring a state or local request to investigate the immigration status of those detained for other criminal offenses.

Foreign Immigration is a federal responsibility.

Do you think its wrong that lawyers are able to represent illegal aliens?

I am of two minds on that subject. I one hand I would have no problem what so ever shooting them if they attempt to cross the border, and wish we did. On the other once they are here, I believe they should have their day in court. I think they should be held until their court date. They should have council. If they found to be here unlawfully, then deported immediately thereafter.

What about illegal's who have family members that are u.s citizens, and these relatives hire lawyers to prevent a member of their family from being deported?

Exactly. Yet most criminal offenses are not federal. Without any coordination a convict is not likely to encounter one of the nation's 5K ICE field agents. Encountering "the worst of the worst" by pure chance is a very bad plan.

Yeah, probably, and we can also tell, who's making it such, and who's going to end up paying for it.

The precedence has been set. I expect some sort of lie from the administration when this question is raised. Of course, that'll be after the wheels and actions have already been put into motion.

If these undocumented children do not have legal representation, we would be denying them the chance of a fair trial.

Why as a tax payer should I be expected to pay the legal fees for an illegal immigrant? Why should I be expected for their legal proceeding's court costs?

Are the tax payers a money tree that's free to be shook down whenever foolish government spending needs funding?

How is making undocumented minors face deportation proceedings without legal representation any form of justice?

Why is the expense of their justice expected from the tax payers? Why not fund it with charitable donations?

If they are illegal aliens; can't prove they were born in the US or have a valid visa or other documentation that would make them legal, why is the decision so difficult to make? Seems a pretty straight forward and simple decision making process to me. Why does it have to be turned into a federal case? Quite literally.

Quote still stands regardless who is paying the attorneys bill. If the alien is here unlawfully then I expect them deported after their hearing determines that.

What if they have family that are legal American citizens? If a mother is an illegal and is deported, what would happen to her children that are legal us citizens, especially if the kids are underage and cannot care for themselves?

I do, but that's not how our system of justice had ever worked, so I'm okay with them having a lawyer before we deport them.
