This is just one aspect of research done under Hitler's regime that has subsequently been exploited by Western democracies. Medical experiments done by S.S doctors yielded huge leaps in research. For example, high altitude experiments, sea water experiments, freezing experiments, sulfanilamide experiments, Tuberculosis experiments, as well as experiments in artificial insemination and sterilisation (and much more), all contributed to modern medicine -- the benefits of which you all enjoy now.
Yet another example of liberal hypocrisy.
WWII ended 69 years ago. About 2 years after I was born.
The passage of time doesn't remove the pain from those who suffered and continue to suffer because of the war.
But it does make it somewhat less relevant to our lives today.

True, the German scientific research investment prior and during WW II are what make the last 1/2 of the 20th century what it is, as those developments and progress were spread across the planet to be used for both good and evil. Medicine and rocketry being only two examples of much much more.
