Look, I understand how the past is painful for Conservatives and especially for southern conservatives. I get it. If I had that past history, I'd be ashamed of it too. The only difference is, I'd acknowledge it, apologize for it, and bend over backwards to ensure that it would never happen again. Instead, conservatives embrace it, as though is was some golden age of American history.

That (bolded above) is your basic logic problem; race and political ideology are in no way naturally related. Black is to conservative as white is to liberal simply does not make sense. ;)

The white Republicans aren't an organization that exists for the purpose of advancing black or half-black men in politics.

The NAACP is an organization that exists for the purpose of advancing "colored people". Scott and Love are considered people of color, are they not?

Well, the great thing is that if Blacks are opposed to school choice then they can take their vouchers and hand them over to the same under performing schools their kids go to today.
