There was a Voting Rights Act passed in 1965.
The enforcement provisions of which were struck down by the SCOTUS.

Which has what to do with the Republicans.....?

"Colored people" can vote in the USA, last I heard. Where are they being prohibited from voting?

Places that require ID; places that can now move voting stations away from black neighborhoods; places that gerrymander to neutralize black votes.

You must really hate Obamacare also since that requires an ID, the only problem is that you CAN'T BLAME Republicans for that.

    ID. Here were go again.

Texas isn't the entire USA. If Republicans changing the voter laws in Texas is going to appeal to the "colored people" who apparently can't get an ID and make a huge difference, then they sure don't have much need.

Republicans think the laws black people want are not important and then they wonder why the NAACP and black people don't vote for republicans

Do you have a link to that?
