You must use two steps to understand the real reason for demorat objection to voter ID laws; 1) blacks are over-represented among the poor and undereducated population and 2) blacks are also over-represented when it comes to who is voting for demorats. It is not concern for blacks that triggers demorat objection to voter ID it is concern that reduced voting by the poor and undereducated (those less likely to have a photo ID) will hurt them more than it hurts the republicants and if you scream racism loud enough and long enough then more black folks will vote.

You realize that Republicans just started the push Voter ID laws because they think it will hurt Dem. votes, right? You don't really think they push for Voter ID out off a pure-hearted concern for "voter fraud"?

Yes, and Dems push for gun purchase ID because Obama is fixing to institute the 12th Imam.

Instead they focused on the bogus issue of voter ID preventing people of color to vote.

    Dip****z.
They don't recognize blacks who don't subscribe to their political views. In fact, they ignore them. Scott and Love are bothersome, just like JC Watts and Lynn Swann and Ken Blackwell and Michael Steele and others were. Naughty children.

Actually, both are valid claims. The same claims can be made for ANY law that requires ID or a user fee (like gun control laws). If simply requiring ID is a "poll tax" then it must also be an infringement on the right to keep and bear arms.

I'm releasing my statement about the NAACP's statement:

Can you believe this nonsense. What BS. Can stupidly get any worse?
