This Liberal is very excited about this. I don't admire his politics but any time a minority can break a glass ceiling it's a good thing...a Martha Stewart moment as it were.

and I am certain that the Democrats who so hailed the election of Barrack Obama six years ago are championing this is a yet another milestone in the advancement of civil rights, I know I am.

I mean, those dems are really good at faking sincerity so how come they aren't all over this like they were with Obama?

I dont doubt they do, and vice versa. But that does not make Tim Scott (whom I have heard speak, hes very good) a token anything. You are diminishing him to suggest as much.

Well let's see. The most recent time was Tuesday, November 4, 2014 when the 2nd Congressional District of New Hampshire re-elected Congresswoman Annie Kuster (D) over her Republican challenger Marilinda Garcia.
