I always thought Palin was a nut job and this proves it.

Palin came up with a tax on oil companies while governor of Alaska? Once again, who would have thunk it. But it seems to have been a good program she initiated, because since Parnell dismantled it, Alaska's revenue is taking a huge hit.

Palin supporting a Democrat and supporting a tax on oil? I guess she is a maverick after all. LOL.

    Article is here.

Well that is interesting. I wonder what Parnell did to piss her off?

Walked away to run on the presidential ticket IIRC, and that didn't work out thankfully. I'm probably forgetting some details on her post-McCain campaign life though.

Still, I don't understand how that discredits her opinions on the matter. She was their governor and has first hand experience of Alaska state governance at the highest level, her word is worth plenty given she's very in tune with the condition of Alaska and how it runs. That kind of experience is invaluable if anything.

    Your stance makes no sense.

Never thought I'd be the one defending Palin on this forum, but here I am....

Awesome plan, I'm going to write Palin to endorse all Democrats. The OP marveling over Palin not support the establishment Republicans is both naive and a big ****ing laugh. Where the **** have you been? She didn't like DC from the beginning. Listen to her speeches. Whose efforts do you think lead to the Tea Party movement?

I wonder if lefties will still think she's stupid.

    Hi Van,

Palin actually submitted her resignation in early July 2009, and it was about a 3 week notice. She resigned 8 months after she ran with McCain.
