Would you want a rapist using the stall next to your daughter? What's to stop a rapist from dressing up like a woman and using the women's restroom to "use the bathroom".

Personally I have no problem with transgenders using the bathroom that they identify with. So long as they've gone through the surgical transition first. Before then, use the bathroom for which your genitals coincide.

I think that if you enter the armed forces as one sex and then become a different sex, then you no longer can serve in the military...at least as long as the military insists on splitting men and women up (btw, I think they should be fully integrated as much as possible - including bathroom facilities).

The military must respect people's rights (something they have a LOT of work to do on, IMO)...but I do not think it should bend over backwards to accommodate every single desire of it's personnel.

This person chose to change gender, it was not forced on them. If they are SO desperate to be a different sex, then wait until their military career is over or resign/retire from the military. They don't like it...tough.

The military is for protecting the nation, not for holding a summer camp. All people in the military must be treated fairly, but not all people should be allowed to serve if the inconvenince for the military is unnecessary. And Imo, this is unnecessary.

Good for her! I believe the OSC ruled in the right direction on this one. Another step in the right direction, and definitely a win for equality.
I hope they refuse to encourage this person in their self-mutilation and/or allow him to spy on women using the restroom, regardless of what their insane higher ups say.

Trying to crowbar you way it, and force people to accept you purely through legal action is going create nothing but resentment.
It has nothing to do with forcing anyone to accept you. No one has to accept anyone else. And that in no way has anything to do with what bathroom a transgendered person uses. I have stated my opinion on this before. One uses the bathroom that matches their anatomy. If a male is pre-op, they use the male bathroom. If the male is post-op, they use the female bathroom. The ONLY exception I see with this is during the "year" as the other gender. Acceptance is irrelevant since no one is going to know. No transgendered person is going to announce it.

This is an absurd post, American. Deuce is NOT transgendered, so you comments have no relevance.

This post demonstrates your completely lack of education on this issue and should stand as a testament to anyone who reads it as such. This is an excellent example of how lack of education on an issue causes someone to say things that are utterly ridiculous and totally without merit.

Take it up with him, he made the argument as though he was.
