I'm going to guess that McCain will support whoever is the Republican nominee. It wasn't really an endorsement for "Rand Paul for President in 2016" which is what I expected to see when I opened the Hill article.
If the republicans nominated a coffee thermos McCain would endorse it.

Rand Paul collects yet another establishment politician. Are people still convinced this guy is some fresh outsider that will shake things up?
.... from a man who's judgement brought us Sarah Palin as a potential VP. He doesn't exactly have a track record of identifying leaders. I'm not sure the John McCain endorsement is worth the cyberspace it takes up.

If McCain wasn't such a coward he may have won the election. Palin was not to blame

It wasn't Palin's fault; it was McCain's fault for thinking she was Presidential material. His judgement came into question. His choice of Palin was indeed a game changer.

McCain ran a weak campaign and would not tell the truth about Obama

....and the "truth" about Obama was what?????

This ought to be good... come up with something without mentioning Bill Ayres, palling around with terrorists or Obama being a Muslim. One of the reasons (and there were many) that McCain lost was that he allowed his campaign to wallow in such shallow nonsense. The argument played well to the uneducated, but was not serious argument. It well showed the McCain campaign desperate and out of control as it grasped for straws.

Obama was lieing. Mccain refused to smear Obama in any way. Obama look like a fool when he blamed McCain for using race when it never happened and McCain refused to use that either

The fact that you think left libertarianism requires massive government overreach demonstrates ignorance of the ideology. Please do the research.
