You just dont understand the words. Even this is not saying ebola is airborne, it just sounds like it if you dont know the definitions of words. "be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients," That distance is 3 ft. that is refered to as droplet percautions and is NOT airborne. It just isnt.
God Bless the Marine Corps.
Listen... again MMC, if you're gonna be this obtuse than don't play the game because honestly, you're material is absolutely laughable.
I will repeat this again.
Ebola is not an airborne virus.
Ebola has never been confirmed to be an airborne virus.
No virus, in the last 100 years of serious virology study has EVER CHANGED TRANSMISSION METHOD.
If Ebola was an airborne virus ALOT MORE people would be sick by now and we'd be looking at an Earth changing catastrophe.
Right now we're looking at a regional outbreak with limited cases abroad.
Your fearmongering nonsense is just that MMC
We recommend using "aerosol transmissible" rather than the outmoded terms "droplet" or "airborne" to describe pathogens that can transmit disease via infectious particles suspended in air......snip~

Ich habe schon Pferde vor der Apotheke kotzen sehen.
Look JBM you can try and deflect all you want and you can keep repeating that.....and those that worked at CIDRAP and are specialists with disease control Say otherwise. So how do you feel about that.....Doctors and those with some initials after their title saying the complete opposite of you?
Do they have more credibility than you.....I would think so huh.
Its clear you didn't read what they were saying. Oh and the Pigs to dog was just one test case.
There is also some experimental evidence that Ebola and other filoviruses can be transmitted by the aerosol route. Jaax et al24 reported the unexpected death of two rhesus monkeys housed approximately 3 meters from monkeys infected with Ebola virus, concluding that respiratory or eye exposure to aerosols was the only possible explanation.....snip~
Oh and I wasn't fear mongering.....so that must have went thru one of those filters and got a bit clogged, huh? Hope you didn't get scared.
Also, this was about the 101st being sent to do what Regular Army and Medical people can take care of and not using a Combat unit to coordinate things.
