Stephen Collins: Wife says he's a pedophile that refuses to get help.

Stephen Collins is a pedophile with a "long term pattern of sexually molesting children" ... this according to Collins' wife.

In the 2014 divorce docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Faye Grant claims Collins "admitted that he had sexually molested 3 underage girls over a decade ago: At least two of these girls were molested over the course of several years."

Grant says in a declaration, she is "sickened by Stephen's actions." She says, "I have urged Stephen multiple times to seek treatment for pedophilia, but "he has refused to seek proper help or hospitalization for the predilection toward children."

Grant asked the judge to declare that any legal liability Collins might have would not come out of her pocket. She says she had no knowledge "of Stephen's secret life prior to January 2012."

Yeah I read that, today, too. Said the girls were as young as 10.

So the wife knew for almost 3 years? And she doesn't want to be liable?

They are both guilty - especially if any of the molestation happened after she knew about it, and she stayed quiet.
 
If it's true, it's horrendous. However, to use a divorce document, where a pissed off wife wants to get a divorce and probably a sizable divorce settlement in cash, alimony and who knows what else, to condemn a guy - well, maybe, just maybe, it's a little bit of a jump to condemn a person.

But, again, if it's true, it's horrendous. And, he deserves to have his "manhood" cut off and then put in jail to become the beyotch for Big Bubba.

Don't have a clue. Don't know their financial position - don't really care either. Maybe all she wanted was to destroy his career and him in the process, which is what she did. The old saying about a woman scorned, comes to mind. But, as I said in different words above, if it is true, then he deserves the wrath of hell.

She didn't destroy his career. He did when he made the choice to diddle 10 year old girls.

Keeping quiet during the molestation reminds me of Jerry Sandusky's wife.

If you as an adult know of a child being molested and you do nothing then you are an accomplice.

There is a video confession from him about doing it.

She recorded it without his knowledge, but he did admit to doing it.

:lol: He's already resigned from SAG and he was in Ted 2, and all his scenes were removed from the film.

I knew him by his face, but I don't know if I've ever even seen the guy in anything. He's kind of nondescript, and quite boring actually. Just some cookie-cutter guy, nothing special about his looks or acting ability to make him stand out. Just meh.

Hence Hollywood tossed his career into the wood chipper. If your last name is Roman or Woody and you have the power to give actors the role of their career then most will look past your transgressions.

I think that anybody who becomes involved with minors should be investigated. Doesn't matter who they are.

The different standards here is pretty baffling. Think they should all be locked up, tattooed with "Molester" on their foreheads and tossed into general pop.

I agree. I'm more just taking the opportunity to point out the near criminal double standard in Hollywood when it comes to child rapists.

I saw an audio at TMZ yesterday. Chose not to listen. Too repulsed, and the transcript of what he said is out there too. That's enough.

Stephen Collins is ruined. I can't remember where, but at some news outlet, readers were posting to gleefully wonder if he would commit suicide. That's more than enough.

Meanwhile, from what I've read, one of the molested girls (now grown, and the unraveling began when she told her husband a few years ago what had happened to her)is a relative of the wife. If she knew and withheld this information until now, that's repulsively calculating.

I admit that my reading tastes run to the low and lurid, but this is too sordid for me. Ick.

7th Heaven was a very successful series. A family show, he played the dad of the family who happened to be a minister...Reverend Camden. ha ha Jessica Biel practically grew up on that show. He was also in Star Trek.

She's preemptively claiming half of his money; screw the victims, that comes out of his half! And if that's not enough for them, she's saying "too bad".

Honestly? I didn't think the guy would make it 'til morning. If I had a dead pool running, he'd be at the top of the list. Horrible, I know, but - and this is in my uneducated opinion on the subject -- people who prey on children usually seem pretty weak themselves. Maybe it's why they go after kids, because kids are less likely to tell them no, than the pretty woman in the office that they've had their eye on. And that weakness of character that allows them to prey on children, and that weakness in the self-esteem department, also is a weakness in the accountability department, and also possibly a weakness in the will-to-live department.

Look at Ariel Castro, the guy from Cleveland who held those women hostage for all those years. He couldn't be accountable for what he did to those women, for years, so he hung himself in his jail cell.
